My favorite part:

He also taught meditation techniques - the workshop costs $250 - at the Days Inn in Sunset Hills.

"We don't care where you are standing," he said. "We only care that you can jump into the conscious experience."

To do so, he said, one must turn devotion inward.

So in order to jump into the conscious experience, you must turn devotion inward. Oh, and have $250. That helps.

Swamiji advised not to bother checking the factuality of what he says. People might believe that if something can be verified by science, it is the truth, but Swamiji maintains that scientists often fulfill the interests of the people funding them.

He's not so hip on history, either. Sure, he said, the writings of historians can be used as a tool toward the ultimate truth. But anyone who accepts those writings as the truth itself is in trouble.

"Logic, science, history: They are not the path to enlightenment. The spiritual always leads people to the ultimate truth," he says....and it only costs $250.
