(The Hilton girl that is. Paris, France is always hot.) Way to go Rebecca! Very nice writing. You're a steller guest writer for sure. Now if I were only ten years younger......Ok, twenty years younger.....ok, ok, thirty years younger dammit.

If Rebecca keeps up this writing thing of hers (and she certainly should) she is going to need to STOP being so down to Earth and start acting like a real writer.

Now Absinthe in still available somewhere I am sure.

Bullfighting, sure you are all for animal rights, but real writers like bullfights and deep sea fishing. You already own some cats, so that is a step in the right direction.

Start dating the WRONG person, maybe a Southern man with a self image problem. Dance in fountains together. Fountains in Paris would be good.

Get a trash can and throw papers in there after only writing a few words (I know, you have to throw your laptop in there and fish it out, this being the "modern age" - just do it!)

Start complaining about editors. Say "they are driving me to DRINK!"

Most of all, just keep writing!!! Because we love to read what your write!

 :o

My browser is set to come straight here to the forum, and I have to manually read the commentaries, which I do on Sunday nights. So I'm slow on the uptake...

Yep, good thing Rebecca has a REAL job somewhere. This writing malarkey of hers isn't going to go anywhere real soon....

:D

I though it was fountains in Rome?

No, you're thinking of the Trevi Fountain. That's where you throw your Italian lover into the fountain for good luck.

I've volunteered. Unfortunately, Becca seems to have something stupid called "standards."

Here in Prague you can find it in all the touristshops, the locals seem to avoid it.

Ok, the goggles are cute, but...
I would lay in bed at night and just try to imagine nothing.
Honey, if you still don't understand the difference between a lay and a lie, you're not nearly as skeptical as you ought to be.

Old joke:

A: What is the difference between sex and playing with LEGO?

B: ....don't know.

A: Stick to playing with LEGO.

SkepticScott

The punch line usually is
"A: Want to play with LEGO?"

Personally, I prefer Paris Hilton over Rebecca, who I hate.

Rebecca sat on my lap at TAM4, which instantly reduced me to a gibbering idiot. She is one sexy lady!

Ha! I didn't even need Rebecca to be a gib . . . .

. . . . hang on, I think I don't want to finish that thought.

If Rebecca keeps up this writing thing of hers (and she certainly should) she is going to need to STOP being so down to Earth and start acting like a real writer.I'm surprised she doesn't frequent these forums. As to her blog, I doubt it will gain much popularity due to it's critical focus. She should take a lesson from Maddox and the Misanthropic Bitch and mix the bitter(sweet) concoction with humor and irony.
