View Full Version : A Theory (Fairy Story)

Once upon a time . . . long, long ago, the earth was smaller than it is now and, over the ages, it has continuously gobbled up space dust, comets, asteroids, small planets, alien spacecraft, etc. This has steadily increased the size and mass of the earth and now we all live heavily ever after.

As the surface of the earth expanded, Pangea split in to the continents.

When the earth was smaller the weaker gravity allowed animals, birds and plants to grow larger than they do today (ah ha! - so that‘s how they built the pyramids!).

When you have stopped laughing . . . Does anyone know why there is more land mass above the equator than below it? And why are many land masses triangular and pointing south?

Thanks - I thought for a second you were calling me a "drip" (pistols at dawn stuff).

I thought it was only a human construct that north was the top. Drippy theory if you ask me.

They put the equator in the wrong place?

No, they just drew it upside down.
