How many of you who poke fun at S&S's english ever learned a foriegn language?

I lived in Mexico four years and at that time spoke passable Spanish, I studied Russian for one year and Italian for two,

I admit, I do mock S&S. Not because of his English but becuase of his ideas. And I really wouldn't do that if he gave a serious attempt to debate his ideas instead of insulting people. I have very little sympathy for him when he claims others treat him unfairly when he does the same.

I like to think of S&S as the new Agur....there are a lot of similarities. The wacko theories the funky english.....Lets all enjoy him while he is still here. Its only a matter of time, i will miss him when he's gone.

Sentences like those are pretty much my limit so far as a foreign language goes. I wouldn't make fun of him though. Even though I understand some Spanish I have no doubt that if I were posting on a Spanish board I would be nowhere near as understandable as S&S.

I'm a citizen of the United States of America. I don't have to speak another language.

Multilingual skills can be simply a side-effect of living in a country that mandates ENGLISH as a secondary language in their primary schools, because it's a handy international standard that *I* happen to speak. It's only natural for other people to want to speak English from an early age, because *I* speak it.

I make fun of him because he's openly rude *AND* behaves like he's almost as smart as a rock.
