View Full Version : I saw a UFO in high school.

It's true. :)
I was standing outside during lunch break drinking Pepsi with friends, when I looked up into the blue sky and spotted a UFO. It was shaped like a saucer, and had blue, yellow, and red lights (like windows) turning on it. It was sitting above the high school and above the trees. I told everyone to look up into the sky and pointed, but just as they looked up into the sky, the UFO flew away at high speed. We are beng visited by aliens and alien spacecrafts.

You know, I lurk on here big time, usually to read a bit more in-depth discussion of things I've first seen in the news, or in Swift.
I've got to tell you though, that I brought the forum list up, saw this in the latest topics, and spat my coffee over my keyboard through laughing!
This has to be a regular poster on a wind-up. The first ones riled me a bit, but now they're just getting funny. Genuinely funny.
A bit like the Pakistani official super homeopathy guy. He's a wind-up, too, right?

oh yeah? I saw a UFO yesterday.
It was too high and the clouds made it difficult to see clearly. It was headed over towards the air base, so I'm sure they'll shoot it down, collect all the alien technology and make up a clever cover story.
Please don't let the sarcasm convince you that I'm lying about the UFO, though. I see one almost every single day. Comes with having the military as neighbors and our shifty weather.

It's true. :)I saw 3 UFOs in primary school (pre high school). The next day it was front page news, so at least I knew I hadn't been hallucinating.
Even at age 11, while exited about seeing "them" (and the memory of it still exites me), I never once considered them to be something from another planet.
I had already learn the wooish way from being disappointed in the conclusions put forward by Von Daniken in Chariots of the Gods.
His crappy book is a defining point in my life - the start of my sceptical questioning.

Truth is an abstract word which most men use indifferently, in their books and judgments, for error and falsehood… Similarly the word “wisdom” is often taken for folly, and “wit” for nonsense. – Voltaire

I was abducted by mole men who took me to their underground lair. They wanted me to help them defend their kingdom from the constant attacks of the lava men. Fortunately, I had my magic ring that gives me super powers on me when they grabed me. I put it on and was able to freeze the lava men and shatter them with my super strength. The mole men wanted me to become their king and shower me with wealth and hot babes, but I decided I would much rather go back to the surface world and be a web monkey.

I saw a UFO one time while on vacation. It was black, wedge shaped and moved at incredible speeds and did some very impressive acrobatics. The friends and family I was with at the time swore it was an alien spacecraft.
A year later the Air Force unveiled the F-117 Stealth Fighter, it looked remarkably the same as the the UFO I had seen. Remarkably, my brother still beliefs that we saw an alien spacecraft and that the government simply reverse engineered it.

I once saw a UFO when I was little. It moved at apparent supersonic speed, zipping back and forth across the sky, manuvering with incredible agility, making a faint high-pitched buzzing noise. Then it flew up nose. Dang bugs.

UFO doesn't nesseceraly imply spaceship. It just means it's unindentifiable. But then again, alot of things are unindentifable when you are a boy in high school, like the female genitalia. oups... sorry about that one:shy:

I love how he described the black boxer in "Herbert West: Reanimator". Was a big surprise to me, but pretty much a "makes sense" thing when I thought about it.

Amy, I say it again: you don't really know what true means, do you?
Dictionary.com defines 'true' as:
#
1. Consistent with fact or reality; not false or erroneous. See Synonyms at real1. See Usage Note at fact.
2. Truthful.
# Real; genuine. See Synonyms at authentic.
# Reliable; accurate: a true prophecy.
You appear to define true as:
1. Something I made up last night.
2. Whatever I say.
3. A quality given to a statement when a smiley is placed after it.

It's true!
There's an invisible flying unicorn living in my backyard! I know this in spite of its being invisible because every once in a while I feel like I can smell manure, even though there isn't manure present. (invisible animals would obviously have invisible manure, or we'd see their gastrointestinal tracts as they pranced by)
The ranch behind my house claims to have no horses, and my yard is much too small and high fenced to permanently serve as a home to any horse-like animal, so he must fly over it. Also, he leaves no footprints so I think he hovers a bit. I think he's a unicorn because it seems he likes to knock the knots out of my fence with his horn. Horses don't have horns but unicorns do.
So you see, I can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I have been visited multiple times by at least one and maybe multiple flying unicorns. You can't argue with the facts.

Seen hundreds of UFO's over the years . Mostly they soon become Identified flying objects and guess what , none of them were Alien craft . Very disappointing .
Biggest problem with this stuff is the sometimes stupid explanations rushed out to debunk a sighting . This happened with a government investigation in the US I believe . Maybe somebody can confirm or deny this ? Anyhow the believers will jump on stuff like a UFO being Venus in the middle of the day or night , for example and say 'Cover-up' ! I've seen a couple that I can't explain but clearly jumping to the conclusion that they were Alien Craft would be silly . As Arthur C Clarke said ' Wait until you can read the Mars plates ' or something like that.
