Looking good..

Hedgehunter
Clan Royal
Numbersixvalverde

The post was made on the 7th April.

And the result was:

1. Numbersixvalverde (N P Madden) 11-1
2. Hedgehunter (R Walsh) 5-1 Jt Fav
3. Clan Royal (A P McCoy) 5-1 Jt Fav

The race was run on 8th April 2006, 4.15pm - for those unfamiliar with the GN

Now that's a prediction the psychics would love to get!

There was a news story last week or week before of a similiar prediction for a Liverpool football game-the one where they got seven goals in! It was on an internet board and gave such details as scorers and amount of goals in first half etc.I think there was only one error,in that a particular player didn't score.

It just interests me that there are events such as these, that nobody is making any claim about, and yet the psychics more often than not, come out with worse predictions and are hailed for being incredibly accurate by their followers.

We could perhaps do with maintaining a list of such natural coincidences for psychics to aspire to!

Successful racing bookies RELY on being able to out-estimate the average punter in the betting ring, and use lots of obvious sources to refine their hunches (some of which are even legal! ;)).

But, that prediction is wrong. Sure, they are the right horses, but in the wrong order. Out of three, not one of them finished in the predicted placing. Hope he boxed a tri, rather than blowing the wad on Hedgehunter to win.
