View Full Version : Stop the mockering of Bullwinkle believers!

You A-Rockyists don't have clue!

How can you doubt for an instant what you see before your eyes? The squirrel flies!

All you people who disbelieve are MOCKERING!

Beware the works of Boris and Natsha! They will trick you into doing bad! You will have to live under the thumb of Fearless Leader, if they succeed!

As Aesop instructs us, it's a cold day that doesn't have some fun.

And don't forget, only MY interpretations of Fractured Fairy Tales are CORRECT!

How can the A-Moosists explain the miracles?

There. Was. Nothing. Up. His. Sleeve.

Then, "Presto!"

NA

Take that, naysayers!

Sherman, set the Way-Back for "The Age of Reason".

But gee, whiz Mr. Peabody, everyone knows that's a MYTH!

Oh, and don't forget the MOON MEN!

Tut tut, my boy, it is simply the world's first case of false advertising.

I was an adult before I learned that "Boris Badenov" was a pun on "Boris Gudenov".

R & B had the most atrocious puns of any cartoon show. I am sure it had some hand in warping my personality.

What happened to Gidney and Cloyd? (I know a guy named Cloyd - and does the name ever fit)

That's "and now for something you'll really like"

and

"All on this itty-bitty card"

pick, pick, pick. Just because I like doing it to other people doesn't mean anyone should do it to me!

Actually, I thought Rocky had several different variations on the tag line to the "Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat" gag. Granted, my R & B quoting track record sucks, so what do I know?

Well, Bullwinkle would say either

"I guess I don't know my own strength." or
"No doubt about it, I've gotta get another hat."

But I think Rocky's line was always the same.

No, hang on, the brain's kicked in,

Sometimes Rocky would say "And now it's time for another special feature."

Google confirms.

Darlingk. Damn - serves me right. Hew-boie.

How does that line go with Boris dropping safe? "and who gets
crushed - me"?

We have trained most of the Russians here to say "muss and squirrel" - big contribution to detente.

Actually, it was switching between the Fractured Fairy Tales and the Mr. Peabody intro. Two channels at once.
