Capsule book review question

Hello,

Does anyone know of a website featuring capsule reviews of novels? When faced with unfamiliar video store selections, I can fall back on my Videohound book to give me a clue as to how much I'll like any given video. But, with books, I find myself with no such guide. Help would be appreciated, hopefully in the form of a website recommendation.

It's not capsule size, but it is very helpful. The web site has:
* editorial reviews
* user reviews
* and often a few pages can be read from the book as well.

Often at least a few users will say what other books are similar (or better :D in their opinion -- and why) and I find that helpful too.
