Thanks for posting these links - most enjoyable.

One of the best bits was the dowsers’ explanations as to why they failed (sorry to give the ending away). Particularly amusing was the one who said that nobody knew a great deal about divining stagnant water and that they could do with “some real severe training” in it. Has Australia got any qualified instructors in that particular discipline yet?:rolleyes:

Edit: Although in a way, I guess it IS comedy.

Dowsers... What can you say?

If you did enough tests would their excuses evolve? Now it was non static water. If the "static" was fixed what would be next... and for how long before one, just one, would say: "Crikey this doesn't work at all. We are wrong and those people offering 110 000 big ones was right."

That is the good thing about being a skeptic. If you are wrong you can just change your opinion and be right.
