Uri Geller has purchased a house which Elvis Presley lived in for all of 13 months (http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Music/05/16/elvis.geller.reut/index.html) for $905,100. He wants to turn it into an Elvis museum, apparently unaware that Memphis already has such an attraction. Until then, he'll use it to make peace between sick Israeli children and sick Palestinian children (no, really! -- read the article).

"We would like to bring sick children there (for tours), Palestinian children, Israeli children, American children," the Israeli-born Geller said."
So that he might show scarred children from the war-torn Middle East what happens if they eat too much fried food and indulge in far too many drugs?

How much would an airplane ticket for De_Bunk, aka Reality, to fly to Memphis cost?

I think it's because good, cheap spoon-unbending labor is hard to come by.

He had set a ceiling price of $1.11 million, said Geller, who acknowledges a paranormal fascination with the number 11.
"As the clock closed on the bidding Sunday," Geller said, "I felt intuitively I got the price. I was text messaging Gleason and it was exactly 11 on my mobile phone and suddenly the radio started playing an Elvis song. That was Elvis telling me we got the house!"
and you gotta love that title "Spoon bender scoops up Elvis' home"

This just in: Geller went to the store to get some milk, a loaf of bread, some Q-Tips, and paper towels.
I guess I don't see how what he buys is a skeptical topic.

Pete Gleason is involved with a project linked to Scientology. (http://www.cultnews.com/index.php/2006/05/01/janeanne-garofalo-goes-gonzo-promoting-scientology-linked-program/)
Skeptical enough for you?
