is a bring a 7 Year Fake Peace pact with Israel and other nations into happening and the bible mentions this.

Also, the bible mentions that this peace will be made by the ANTI-CHRIST and it will be a short lived peace that will be broken when the ANTI-CHRIST goes in and Desecrates the 3rd Jewish Temple.

I'm with you now. Peace is bad, bad, according to various bible mentionings. By the way, I assume someone will have to knock down the dome of the rock and Al Aqsa mosque to build the 3rd temple.

Oh, wait! It's good for you though. You're rapture-ready! Keep you mouth shut or you're liable to scotch the whole deal.

They dont have to knock down the Mosque, they could put the 3rd temple next door to the Mosque.

By the way, there are some good peace and some bad peace whether it is in the bible or not.

I mean countries appeased and Hitler and wanted peace with them and look what happened: He made a fake peace than invaded.

Just because the word Peace is used, doesnt neccesarily mean it is a good thing.

I mean there is Good Peace and Bad Peace.

Here's a question: just what in the hell is theoretically supposed to happen AFTER the "antichrist's 7 year" peace plan? Go back to fighting? Wouldn't the Isrealies want something more permanent than a lousy 7 years?

and read Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 9:27 and Revelation Chapters 13 to 22 to see what happens after the "peace pact" for 7 years is made.

I really hate to burst your bubble like this, but I know what (according to superstition) does happen. What I'd like to know is: how is the guy able to sell them on a 7 year plan? ie)What do they think is going to happen after the 7 years? What does the "beast" say is going to occur after the 7 years?

Why would they be satisfied with a measely 7 year peace plan unless they had continued peace afterwards??

The other day, out of the middle of a sunny, blue sky we suddenly got hit by a rain of giant hailstones. I said to my boss (who's a devout baptist) "If this is the apocalypse, can we have the rest of the week off?"

But he just laughed . . . :(

Tell you what Billie

Why don't you and the rest of the gals at the Wednesday night Bible study take Daniel and Revelations and tell us heathens on this board what the next 12 months will entail. Sure, sure, I know the 'good' book tells us that no man knows the exact hour of the rapture - but that's not what I'm asking.

I'm just asking you gals to tell me what to expect in the next 12 months. Otherwise, explain how your 'rapture ready' guys don't have to answer the same question that the Jews were facing in 120 CE when 2 Peter was written:

"3:3 First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth and do every evil thing they desire.
3:4 This will be their argument: "Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he? Why, as far back as anyone can remember, everything has remained exactly the same since the world was first created."
3:9 The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake." (New Living Translation).

It's been 2,000 years, how patient is god being?

I can't remember the details, but wasn't there a thread a while back that outlined how the apocalypse, the end of the age, etc. had already happened?

Do we really need to be worried about an antichrist if he's already come and gone?

Billiefan's the real antichrist. It's all very simple really. Pointing the finger at everyone screaming, look anti-christ, look rapture, look bible quoutes! This is a well known tactic employed by the anti-christ. I know, cause the aliens told me so.
