According to Google Trends (http://www.google.com/trends/about.html), James Randi (http://www.google.com/trends?q=james+randi&ctab=1&geo=all&ctab=1&date=all) is popular in Norway and Sweden.

On the other hand, astrology (http://www.google.com/trends?q=astrology&ctab=1&geo=all&ctab=1&date=all) is huge in India.

"Searched for" does not equal "popular".

"Popular" indicates something positive. Unless you want to try "Saddam" or "Hitler"? :)

"Popular" indicates something positive.
Not necessarily, according to Merriam Webster Online, where four meanings are listed for popular (http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/popular), only the fourth of which carries a positive connotation.
