I hope this doesn't mean that restrictions similar to the ones KRAMER had will be placed on what Jeff can post now.

I think the situation is the same: He will have to give up posting at the forum.
I still find the rule stupid.
It is also the reason why there is so much speculation going on: the JREF has simply not been very communicative! I speculate it is because the JREF is actually James Randi with a little help, and because mr. Randi has not enough time to write on the forum, and the helpers have no authority to speak for mr. Randi. Besides, everything they do say would in any case have to be approved by a lawyer, just in case!

Officially, JW is a moderator and administrator of the forum. Obviously, that means he needs to interact and post here, as part of his tasks.
KRAMER was never involved with admin. job of this forum. He posted as a participant.
Personally, I think that Mr Wagg might consider creating an official 'sock puppet' alter-ego account (another user-name) which can be used to differentiate between his moderator status and the new Challenge Communicator deal.

No, no restrictions have been placed on me. I'm in a different role than Kramer. Ultimately, comparisons are inevitable..and somewhat silly.

So, what is your role, exactly, and how does it differ from Kramer's.
BTW, reading back over the old posts, I can understand why Kramer left. That has got to be a particularly thankless job.

Second part first...OH YEAH.
I'm going to be doing much of what Kramer did..being the point of contact and organizer, primarily, but a lot of it will be streamlined. So many of our applicants are obviously mentally ill, that we won't be pursuing them as much as in the past. And we'll be sharing the load with local skeptic groups who want to help out.
So yeah, for all intents and purposes, I'm the new "Kramer," but I feel that's unfair to Kramer, and I don't want people to think that he can be replaced. He can't. He hasn't been. But I'll be doing a lot of the work he was doing before.

Let me try this again: What is your job description?
