Open request for aid regarding PEAR/GCP

I would like some help in improving the "criticism" section of the Global Consciousness Project article on Wikipedia. Specifically, I need references -- citations in published work. Expansion and revision of the section is also welcome, but please keep it concise.

By the way, it may need to be pointed out that original research is not allowed on wikipedia. So your own criticism, no matter how logical and brilliant, will violate WP:NOR (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:NOR). Citations are necessary. I made this mistake when I first wrote the section and am now trying to correct it.
