....analyzing Gravy's possible errors in his Loose Change Critique.

OK, here it is. I'm stepping out, I request that all JREF'ers save Gravy STAY OFF this thread, If DJ wants to challenge Gravy's debunk, as he says he wants to, then here is the place, Gravy is ready, let the discussion commence.

Or not...we shall see.

I'm here with my list of 115 false statements from "Loose Change." DJLegacy wrote that Dylan Avery has already acknowledged "most" of the mistakes I pointed out. AFAIK, Avery has only acknowledged two of the 115 on my list: the B-25, and the blue tarp/tent. And those, of course, are minor.

A reminder:
http://s15.invisionfree.com/Loose_Ch...showtopic=5082

Gravy's article is all unsourced quotes, personal opinions, and weak attempts at being a smart ass...

Its pretty sad some of you are still defending an article that has all of the qualities that you bash LC for.

Most of what he "Debunks" is the errors that Dylan already admitted to. Besides that how do we even know if 80% of his facts are real, he has no sources then the rest is personal opinion....

Gravy doesnt come close to doing anything except making himself look like a sarcastic tool.

Reminder:
Side Note: Im sick of seeing GRAVY...everywhere.

His DEBUNK is 95% personal opinion...and yes Ive read it about 4 times.

http://s15.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=4633&view=findpost&p=4595474

Debunking Gravy, would be a personal opinion battle...95% of his Debunk is personal feelings which he THEN finds quotes to abck his personal views.

Ive read it 4 or 5 times...so you can't say I haven't...

http://s15.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=4633&view=findpost&p=4596447

'Gravy' makes a thousand PERSONAL opinions, and then tries to back his OPINIONS with either other people's opinions, random quotes (which he complains about LC for), or he is making one liners and adding sarcasm and pointless comments.

I could site a dozen instances off the top of my head, since I broke the whole document down last night.

http://s15.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=4633&view=findpost&p=4610078

And how did I do on the facts?

Reminder:
I will respond to Gravy not because that goofball article does anything to discredit the movement, but because the dude is a complete tool and a hypocrite.

Skeptics use his article like the bible and all it is, is a bunch of garbage. He draws a conclusion is his head then finds unsourced quotes to try to turn the tide his way...just like he blames LC of doing...go figure....

You people blame followers of LC for backing a documentary that "is full of rhetoric and lacks substance"...but yet you all quote Gravy like his article isnt complete ********....

Time for these types of people to be put in their place...Period...You want to discredit Dylan and the group...I'll show you how much ******** your side is as well...

Im not doing this to defend LC, we all admit their are problems with it, this is a about the truth...

Gravy is a hypocritical peice of trash....period.

Clear enough?

8:58 EST: I post that I'm here and ready to go.
9:00 EST: DJLegacy leaves.

11:45: I'm off to bed. Have to be up early.

DJ, you are a valiant and worthy foe.

Well, let me put on my big surprise face.

Just so you know, young DJ logged on and off the LC forum a couple of times after 9 last night, so it's not as if he had been called away by the VFD to put out a fire at the orphanage.

This post by Shrinker was another illustration of DJ's sterling character.
http://forums.randi.org/showpost.php?p=1691352&postcount=2017

I didn't even know he was an LC admin. How sad.

Now move along all of you. There's nothing to see here.

DJ Legacy has not been on his computer since last night, when he was called out to help a friend. DJ Legacy is currently working and will not be around till late tonite. This is his cousin and I was asked to pass this message along. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. DJ Legacy will get to addressing your issues as he has time.

Have A GREAT Day!

Of course he's just trolling, as he was on his computer last night and this afternoon.

DJ, when you grow to be a man you'll look back on this episode with shame. I hope that time comes sooner rather than later.

Jeebus, he made 76 posts here yesterday?

Because his computer is in use, this mean he is currently on the computer and around to answer your questions? He is right about your group over here, complete jackasses!

I am not going to play middleman however, so you may talk to DJ Legacy when he is availible.

Have A Super Day!

Yes, when you're logging on and off your own site, that means you're available. When you beg for me to show up, and when I do you immediately flee, that means you're afraid of something.

DJ, I know you can't possibly be proud of your behavior. Please read your posts again and consider that a lot of people, including people at your site, are reading your words.

Sorry guys,

DJ's cousin asked me if I could relay a message. He is incontinent right now and can't post anywhere but to his blog and loose change. When he is able to bind his bowels he will come here and give you a good what for.

So there.

Blast from the past :) (I wasn't around here back then :p)

Just out of interest, did anyone ever publish a response to Gravy's critique?
I saw one addressing "Screw Loose Change", but it was hardly a debunking.

"Debunking of a debunking's" usually consist of:

a) "Why didn't you talk about this instead!" eg. CTist bringing up WTC7 in a section of a debunking that deals with the Pentagon.
b) "It's just so freaking obvious" eg. Saying WTC7 was a demolition regardless of what firefighters said... just because it's obvious.
c) A repetition of the already debunked argument.

The Loose Change Guide and the 9/11 Mysteries Guide (April 13th Release) debunk every point in these films. These "dunking of a debunking's" will only attack few points. For example, "Screw Screw Loose Change" only deals with the quick removal of steel, as opposed to "debunking" Marky's analysis of everything else to do with the WTC buildings.

So yeah... any attempt at "debunking loose change guide" out there? lol.

Cheers for the welcome. I normally don't like resurrecting threads but having read what, 140+ pages from a monster thread and getting to this spin off thread I had to take my frustration at his duplicity out somehow.

I still have about 150+ pages to go of that one thread. So please don't spoil the end for me, I'm sure that eventually one of the woo-swarm actually takes part in a real honest debate and is prepared to produce evidence backing up a single claim they make. I've still not seen about 100 of geggys posts for example, surely he made one factually correct statement...
