View Full Version : Itemized list of Government Spending?

I'm sure I can download a boring spreadsheet about it. But I was wondering, if there is, or if I should start a more graphical presentation of government spending. Like an expandable pie chart in which you can zoom in to "Healthcare" or "Military" sections are see the itemization.

I think it would be a great tool to get an clear picture on how much money (as a %) goes in to which specific programs.

For example, a lot of money goes into Medicare, but exactly what individual programs does Medicare then compose of?

If you zoom in so far that you can see the SSN on my military retirement check, we are going to have a problem with each other.
