I called Lost & Found for two days and they came up with nothing (I lost them inside a city bus), I had to go to their headquarters and ask each of the drivers. But I found them! There are many more, but these were the ones I couldn't easily substitute. :D

The radio show! Haven't heard it yet. I drew a total blank when the mic was in front of me. Hell, I'm a teacher!!! Shouldn't be like this! I was so close to Randi, cut me some slack. :)

Lovely Linda! She actually kept her humor through it all. The best!

Mr. Jerry Andrus doesn't get tired of marvelling us with his wonderful magic. 2:30pm and he would be in the hotel lobby showing his tricks. And Patricio, forget it, I'll never tell how I knew that was the seven of diamonds! You know, I never tell [I]my secrets. ;)

Luciana, I'm so glad you found them. :)
They are of quite good quality, and that pic of you and Girl6 and Lisa is great.
It was also great to see another pic of Patricio. I hope you stayed by his side the whole time to correct his English. :D
Post the rest of them when you find time.

Oh, sure! Not only Patricio's, but I also had plenty of opportunity to deal with Claus' accent. :D :D :D

Glad you found your photos, Luciana...and such a pleasure to finally meet you. There were so many people around, and so much to do, I fear I may have not given the attention deserved to some folks...if that's the case, my sincerest apologies. I was just overwhelmed!!! The little kid in me was going bonkers, what with rockets and airboats and neat people and all that stuff...
My pix come back tomorrow, all 200+ of them...of that number, maybe 50 will actually show something.
Oh yeah -- you can follow this link (http://66.192.47.137/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13225) to download the Jan 30th Internet show. There's maybe a minute in the beginning where the motion freezes, but the audio continues. Eventually everything rolls on as normal. And yes, your smiling face is very recognizable!!!

Charlie,
I immediately recognized you the moment I saw you!! You look so much like that picture on the House of Souls. And I recognized Lisa by her voice! :)

The three little kittens found their mittens
And they began to cry: Meow, meow, meow
What? Found your mittens, you good little kittens
Now you shall have some pie: Meow, meow, meow

Ok, so I know it's obvious. And probably irrelevent. Maybe even inappropriate. But I've got to say it anyway.
Lucianna, you are one pretty lady.
(I hope Mrs. Jayrev doesn't read this...)

Only inappropriate in that you didn't mention that Lisa and Girl6 are pretty as well.

Yeah, but I've flirted with them enough on paltalk to make up for it.
Speaking of paltalk, where the heck has everybody been? Did I miss a memo?

Sorry I've missed you on Paltalk lately Jayrev, but I'm in the midst of doing a probate court report (I'm the legal guardian of my handicapped sister), so I've not been on much lately.
And.......to refresh your memory, lots of the regulars were at the Amaz!ng Meeting last week.

I've tried to get on a few times this week and the room never seems to be open. Probably just bad timing. Hope things work out well with the court thingy.

Congrats on finding your pictures, and thanks for sharing them with us. I love seeing what forum members look like – I love Seelie's House of Souls :)

A good thing about digital cameras is that you could have e-mailed your pictures to yourself from the hotel in Florida, thus avoiding the whole 'lost on the bus' scenario.

I think Jerry's the lucky one in that photo...

I know... I have a Sony Mavica 640x480, that, in its heyday, would made people stop me on the streets to have a look at it. :) But now that this resolution is hardly satisfactory, and until I buy one with 3 or 4 megapixels, I have to use dad's camera. Developing pictures??? Very weird, I know.
As friends said, I had very good chances of having my pictures back. Who would want to keep them? I mean, all of the subjects were properly clothed! :D

I haven't gone digital yet myself, battery use is an environmental issue for me. I'm waiting for CCDs to be replaced by CMOS. Also, I don't have a computer at home so if I got a digital camera I would have to do my downloading at work.

That's me there on the right next to Girl6 and Luciana. Can you tell I'm burning up with the flu? I had just flown in only hours before, and was near death. I was worried I'd start a flu plague, but it turns out half the people there were already sick, including Randi. He had a bad cough during the entire conference.
Shortly before these pictures were taken, Lisa was sitting where CID is. Hal Bidlack came out and pulled me into the room and sat me down in the chair. When I saw Girl6, Luciana and Lisa, all I could say was, "I hope my wife isn't watching."
I was pretty sure she wasn't. She never has before. And she was alone with the twins, so she had to be pretty busy.
Well, it turns out she was watching! :D
All in all, I was pretty uncomfortable sitting there.....

No computer at home??? I've heard there were two people out there who could live like this... nice to meet you.
Luke: I can't, for the life of me, remember who said that, but as you and someone else were sitting in a comfy chair next to the library, a guy came to me and said: those two look tired! And I answered: no, they look sick! (I also don't know who was sitting next to you)
The radio show studio wall-to-wall carpeting is not high-heels-friendly, it's so soft that you can't stand on it without having your feet falling to the sides. :)
Thanks, chessmanskeptic!

Wait. It took me a few days to figure this out...
So, you have posted 3.000+ messages since Sep. 2002, making an average of 21.74 messages/day, and you don't even have a computer at home???

Luke, you do sort of look like your avatar in that picture. You know, sort of smeary and out of focus, and looking like you were just pulled off of an infected, puss filled wound.

Wow, Luciana! You're even cuter than Mr. Randi! (Hey, you guys, I'm entitled to my opinion. It's in the eye of the beholder, you know!)
Now we just need to coach whoever was snapping those photos to fill the frame with the subject. (He or she shouldn't stand so far away and leave so much room above the heads. Sorry, but bad composition bugs me--especially when the subjects are as lovely as the JREF gang.)

We would but we're too busy plotting the apocalypse. Sacrifice a Christian baby and you too can join the club. :D
