People, I have gallstones. I've been reading about them and have come across a home remedy that involves drinking an impossible amount of olive oil and lemon juice and variations on those ingredients. Is there a site out here that looks at home remedies and debunks them? I've come across two testimonials but they are no better than the testimonials on the "For" side. I'd appreciate referrals to "Home Remedies - Tried, Disproven and explained."
Thanks

I remember reading one of these that my brother gave to my Mother when she was having extreme problems with gallstones - that one was based on apple juice and olive oil if my memory serves me right. He actually paid £75 quid for it! (I paid a few thousands of pounds for her operation instead.)
Probably the best place to start looking would be http://www.quackwatch.org/
