Homeopathy Makes My Blood Boil

I was noodling around on a silly website with quizzes on deep topics like "Who Is Your Movie Star Match?" and "Are You Marriage Material?" (Ellen Barkin and No, FWIW) when a link popped up to this quiz (http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=15696152163425858415)that determines whether "Holism" or "Allopathy" is the right medical philosophy for you. The questions are posed in such a way to make anyone who subscribes to scientifically-determined means of treatment seem like a pill-popping junkie who lets doctors run their life in 45-second increments. Of course I scored "58 holistic and 41 allopathic" proving, in their words, that I have rejected allopathy because of its narrow views of the mind/spirit/body connection and am prepared to broaden my perspectives to let the body take on a more active role in healing itself.

My goodness, I am a woo and didn't even know it. I am so depressed I'd better run to the nearest Allopath to write me several prescriptions for various anti-depressants.

Because the word "allopathy" has no meaning or use outside of the pseudoscience of homeopathy.

If I wanted to, I could probably find a paper on the topic of "Why Hitler Was Right" that was clearly anti-Semitic, despite not actually using the word "Jew." Same principle.

No, no. Homeopathy is "like cures like". Hence, to cool yourself down homeopathically, you need to slightly increase the temperature of a vial of water, shake it around then dilute it a hundred billion times.

If you do it with ice, you'll obviously warm yourself up ;)

Of course, you'll need to get the solution proscribed by a homeopath at the end, otherwise its not homeopathic, it's just water. (see this (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=60075) thread).
