But the evidence was sufficient for the folks who examine candidates for sainthood. Those particular Christians must think that particular evidence was sound.

Which evidence do you say is missing? Could it be that the miracles themselves are missing? How could you tell the difference?

Other than the bible, what evidence could there be for a ressurection at this late stage? Do you expect photos of Jesus walking on water? Shop receipts indicating that not enough bread and fish was bought for the party?
