Shouldn't news articles like this one (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/afplifestyleusautoenvironmentfuel) be suppressed? And how did Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs (http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/dirtyjobs/splash.html) get away with a show about this? "BioWillie"? I'm very disappointed in my oil company black ops people!

Who do you think owns all the restaurants that supply the grease feedstock?

Who do you think owns all the restaurants that supply the grease feedstock?

But it's my understanding that the people who are doing biodiesel either get it for free (because the restaurants throw it out). How can this possibly be better than, oh, charging $3+ per gallon for gas in a society they've purposely made gas-dependent by squelching all of the free-energy inventions?

No, no , no! Oh naive person! Thou hast it all wrong!

Disposal of organic waste COSTS MONEY! Thanks to tree huggers everywhere, it is now impossible to simply dump the byproducts of the petrochemical industry in landfills. (Used sump oil, deep fat Mars Bar Fryer oil, McDonogrease, gook in general.)
By convincing these idiots to take the stuff away for free, BIG OIL is actually saving millions on it's environmental budget.

You never wondered why a Big Mac tastes like it was fried in diesel?

Now you know.

Once these idiots become dependent on free or ultra cheap supplies of feedstock, BIG OIL will announce a shortage and hike the prices of second hand grease, thus saving on recycling costs AND increasing resale profit.

Buy your shares now.:DRemember you heard it here first.
