I was privileged to work with Stanley Asimov, Isaac's younger brother who edited " Yours, Isaac Asimov: A Life in Letters," published in 1995. If one hasn't read any of IA's autobiographies, these 1,000 letters to people of all stripes and circumstances is a swell intro to his genius.

"Pearls before swine" caught my eye; that's the name of an awesome band from Sweden. I can't post links yet, but here's the URL of their homepage:

Oh, no! Those pesky Swedes - they've taken over North Dakota? What's next? Please don't tell me they're marching on Canada. Canadians are so sweet!

Translation to above rant: Pearls Before Swine was a legendary(well, cult-legendary) rock band headed by Tom Rapp, who's from N. Dak. They were one of the top studio/session groups in the country, and developed a limited but devoted following.

I reckon them Swedish young 'uns took their name. Do they at least credit them. Yes, it's an old adage... but anyone in music should know that the name was already taken. That's like naming your group, "The Crickets".
