I've been reading the letters section from this site: Patmos Emergiclinic. (http://www.emergiclinic.com/)

Americans might yet ignore the siren songs of universal healthcare
– so beautiful and noble in conception, so ruthless and hypocritical
in administration.

Who knew MSA's would produce this?

Having only read the main page of the site, and thus realizing I probably don't have the complete picture, nonetheless my first reaction is: GOOD FOR THEM.

By avoiding much of the health care bureaucracy, they can provide the services at a more reasonable price. And since all of their patients have an incentive to economize, they won't be giving out many unnecessary treatments.

It's just a shame they're legally unable to shake off the rest of the bureaucratic BS and provide it at a truly affordable price.

Interesting...Vision Statement

To help reform healthcare with reason and integrity while encouraging health-transforming life in Christ.

Mission Statement

To provide practical care for persons who fall through the cracks of our broken healthcare system.
To restore the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship by eliminating interference from non-clinicians.
To restore financial control to patients and their families by promoting point-of-care payment for non-catastrophic medical expenses.
To promote health and wholeness through Biblical spirituality.
