Look in the mirror, you guys have been whitewashing the US Government's involvement with 9/11 from the start. YOU are the monsters with blood on your hands. I do not know how you can sleep at night.
Iggy, why do you hate kittens?

Reminds me of good ole George when he said...fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again. :)
I think that was Dan Quayle.

eta: nope, that was W.

I think if you do some research you'll find that Hitler signed very few orders after Hindenberg's death. In fact, when asked to, he refused to put many of his orders in writing. Instead he preferred to give his orders verbally and/or have someone else put it in writing.

True, Hitler was surprisingly lazy for someone who demanded such diligence from his people.

Or it could be that he just didn't want a paper trail leading back to him, although that's doubtful. He never intended to take responsibility for his illegal actions anyway.

And here you are, lining up to be fooled for a third time. Congratulations.
You can fool some of the people all of the time. Like troofers.

I've found that refusing to buy into paranoid delusions is a good way to stave off insomnia.

How was the government involved?
YOU are the monsters with blood on your hands. I do not know how you can sleep at night.
If your theory was correct, wouldn't you be the one with blood on your hands? Wouldn't your duty be to convince us? Coming in and acting like an infant, hurling incoherent insults around, providing no logical case for what you believe, and not sharing this supposedly obvious evidence with us certainly isn't going to convince anyone of anything.

If you actually have evidence that our government is murdering citizens, your behavior is utterly deplorable.

Many historian believe both are the case.

It seems, the twoofers thought, RTE was still going to show LC! They were getting all woo wooed up, then this!

From Fr Ted @ LC...
I'm the guy who wrote the Letter. Morgan's letter is dated a day earlier than mine. Mine comes from the head of public affairs. The documentary will not be shown.

You can believe whomever you like, but Morgan, unlike me was last seen in RTE being escorted out by security, and later the Garda, so by default I think I'm a slightly more credible source. Hey the RTE guide will be out next week, anyway. Or you could just e-mail the press office at
complaint_ at_rte.ie to get confirmation.

lcac the concept you are thinking of is called fair dealing. I don't know where you plucked the 10% figure out of the air from because it's 100% wrong.

The basic principle is that between broadcasters (note not program makers) You can use approximately 1 minute of their material. There are exceptions if one broadcaster expressly forbids it (by adding an Aaton with "exclusive") on it. The material cannot be re-edited to change the context of the original broadcast (ie by running news footage of the twin towers with your vo claiming it is proof that a bomb is going off)

Finally as I touched upon it is a dealing being broadcasters and not program makers. The concept of fair dealing allows RTE news to screen sky sports broadcasts of premiership matches in their news programs, for example. Trying to stretch the concept of fair dealing to cover a film which compromises mostly of other peoples footage is frankly taking the piss.

Oh and libel? How about Larry Silverstein? You suggest that he's complicit in massive insurance fraud and the death of nearly 3,000 people. Based on one line you've taken out of context.

Ooops!

I'm Fr Ted. A note for Americans and other Heathens. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fr_ted

Is the finest sitcom ever made about 3 priests living on a remote Island of the coast of Ireland. It's similarity to Loose Change is that at the time RTE, could have made it. But were still too timid and afraid of contraversy. to green light it, so it was made by the British Channel four. It's completely an Irish cast, and writers.

Arguing with troofers reminds me of the Dougal scene "these are small, but those are far away" ,"small", "far away."

Dougal "Well there's the spider baby"

Fr Ted "Spider baby? Whats that?"

Dougal "Well it's a baby with the body of a spider, and the head of a spider"

Fr Ted "Dougal then how do you know it's a spider baby and not just a spider?"

Dougal "Well, Ted, it's in a pram".

This is something I often bring up with the truth crowd, in particular Lyte and Merc, who also claim to have evidence that will prove to the entire world 9/11 was an inside job...

If that is true, than you are guilty, right now, of concealing evidence of a crime. That in itself is a crime, as is hampering or tampering with an crime investigation. You see, the investigation of 9/11 is still on going. The case hasnt been closed, so if you, and LTW, and Merc, and Lyte are withholding evidence in that investigation, even for a day, or a week, you are committing a crime yourselves.

TAM:)

The truthers seem to overlook this aspect. Witholding evidence is a crime. Not that they have any evidence anyways.

Anybody else catch this from the Guardian of London?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/Columnists/Column/0,,2006830,00.html

There is a virus sweeping the world. It infects opponents of the Bush government, sucks their brains out through their eyes and turns them into gibbering idiots. First cultivated in a laboratory in the US, the strain reached these shores a few months ago. In the past fortnight, it has become an epidemic. Scarcely a day now passes without someone possessed by this sickness, eyes rolling, lips flecked with foam, trying to infect me.

The disease is called Loose Change. It is a film made by three young men that airs most of the standard conspiracy theories about the attacks of September 11 2001. Unlike the other 9/11 conspiracy films, Loose Change is sharp and swift, with a thumping soundtrack, slick graphics and a calm and authoritative voiceover. Its makers claim that it has now been watched by 100 million people.

Hmm...I remember a time when Loose Change got our blood boiling and prepared us for the debunking ahead...

Now it seems we've been waiting for the latest version for too long, and with only quite easily debunked fare such as The Pentacon around for us to sink our teeth into we're getting restless.

Bumping this thread as a subtle reminder as to why we're all here, so that Darat doesn't have to warn us about our actions again.

Perhaps the best way to do so is a reminder of what started it all...
