So, I just submitted a proposal for a paper to present at TAM 5. I was wondering if anyone else had, and what topics they suggested.
Mine is (hopefully!) going to be on how people manage to get patents for things like perpetual motion and free energy devices....

The committee will ask for drafts of the talks prior to final selections this year, and we will ask all to submit an actual writeup for the proceedings.
I especially look forward to more contributions from the forum members. Hope to hear from many of you.

Initially I'd offered to help with the education workshop with the results of my studies this year. However, it seems that they have all that under control, so if I make rapid progress over the next few weeks on finishing a paper on critical thinking in education programs, I'll submit it for next TAM. I'd like to give a talk on what I've learned this year, both in my research and in my science communications degree.
