Who do you like the best? Who has the best chance of winning? Who do the american people like the best? Who is the most qualified in dealing with the serious issues we are likely to face?

Don't know enough about Rudy, except that New Yorkers tend to feel that New York is the center of the universe.
Powell probably will not run for office (too bad) - he would be a good candidate.
Paul - The country probably won't go for another Texan so soon - chances are not good.
Owens—a pro-life Catholic - not a chance.
Rice - nothing to recommend or disagree with at this time - lack of policy.
Jeb - The country probably won't go for another Bush so soon - chances are not good.
This leaves McCain, out of this selection, as the most viable candidate.

He's barred from running for president.
From Article II of the US Constitution:
"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."

It probably depends on who wins in '04, don't you think?
