I'm a big Joseph Campbell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Campbell) fan, and I would like to share some of his work on comparative mythology and comparative religion with everyone.
I have here (http://www.4shared.com/dir/606599/23c6ec80/sharing.html) the audio from Joe's PBS series, The Power of Myth, available for download. If anyone is interested in checking it out and discussing it that would be great.

I will upload a version in zipped format right now. Should be up within 10 minutes or so.

Our last big Campbell fan was Iacchus. He's currently suspended; this is his online "book". (http://www.dionysus.org/) It would be interesting to see whether a Campbell fan finds it any less ludicrous.

I don't agree with what he seems to be doing. Our next great mythology will have to be global and it's Universal symbols will have to be based on the future, not the past. This not the same as saying we throw away the past though.
RandFan, I'm having a little trouble uploading the file in zip format. Hang in there though, I'll get it!
