Dihydrogen monoxide also appears to be highly addictive. People hooked on the stuff can't go more than a couple days tops before their cravings become unbearable. Withdrawal symptoms can include dry mouth, heat exhaustion, difficulty urinating, hallucination...even death.

Some of the nuttier elements (http://www.total411.info/2005/02/jeff-gannon-johnny-gosch-hunter.html) of the blogs and radio shows (http://rense.com/general67/gannn.htm) used this article to try to claim that Jeff Gannon (a White House reporter for an internet newspaper), who appeared to have engaged in gay prostitution, was actually Johnny Gosch, a 12-year-old boy who had disappeared in 1982 while delivering newspapers in Iowa. The "theory" was that Gosch had been kidnapped by the Bohemians and abused and now 25 years later he was... well it gets a little murky from there. The fact that Gannon was about 12 years older than Gosch would be (he graduated college in 1980, two years before Gosch was kidnapped) never seemed to trouble the CTers. The conspiracy was mostly fueled by the identical initials--JG and JG, especially when it was found that Gannon was an internet alias and that his real name was James Guckert.
