View Full Version : This Psychic Seemed Rather Specific

This reading was done for a friend and she related it too me. It's hard for me to know what to say to the women since I don't know all the circumstances of her sitution, or how the psychic could have got this info from non-spiritual means. The woman had never met the psychic before so, apparently, she couldn't have gotten the information before hand. Here is info from the reading:

Firstly, her Step Father was buried with a picture of her son in his pocket and three roses on top of the grave the psychic said-"and she told me, there is a man he has 3 roses and a square pic he has it in his insside pocket and he hass a wedding suit on"

Then the woman typed this out to me.

"She (the pyschic) said to me i have a pendant, and when I open it there is a young man with a pink shirt on and a medallion round his neck do you know anything about this?
I said no so when i told my mum she handed me this chain with a locket so when i told my mum she handed me this chain with a locket i opened it was my step dad at 21 pink shirt medallion."

Sounded sort of convincing to me, I did ask this woman if the psychic said anything that was incorrect, and she said yes, but never really offered any statements that were wrong. Anyone have any ideas on this reading?

Did you actually see this reading? Were you there or was this all from her memory?

Your main problem here is that you are hearing the reading as your friend related it. Even if your friend believes 100% that she is telling it exactly as it happened, that is not necessarily the case.

Without a recording or proper transcript of the reading, it's impossible to know that what is being claimed actually happened, let alone why.

I wasn't at the reading unfortately, this was told to me during and internet chat, so, yeah, she could have been filling some holes in with her recollections. I didn't dare say that to her though, since this subject seems rather emotional and she'd likely accuse me of calling her a liar.

That would definitely help of course, I'd like to see how many misses this woman made and what she actually said. During my chat she mentioned other "paranormal" experiences she had, such as the ghost of her Step Father appearing to her while she was laying down watching television. He conveyed a comforting message to her, which escapes me at the moment, then disappeared. Also, the psychics face apparently changed to that of her Step Fathers face during the reading. Wish I had been a fly on the wall to witness all this.

If you didn't see this for yourself then she probably is just filling in the holes herself. I'm not sure how to present it to her because it's easy to become emotionally attached to things like this.

Sounded sort of convincing to me,
It does?

It looks like gibberish to me (my girlfriend talks just like this, drives me right up the wall). :D

Could you please clean this up a little, so we can tell at least tell who said what?

Yes I know, I'd hate to get her upset at me, since she's a good friend. I was quite diplomatic at asking her about the reading, and I know she probably wouldn't have accepted the idea of cold/hot readings. I was tempted to ask her real name to see if there was info on the net somewhere that the psychic could have gleened prior to the reading. She must have called her first to get the appointment, then I can imagine the psychic bringing up Google on her comp. I just gave up chatting with the woman since I didn't want to open up a nasty can of worms.

If you're resigned to not speak with her anymore than what's the danger in questioning it? One way to start might be to ask if there is anything that would convince her that it was a fake. If she says nothing would then you don't have a chance and it's best to let it go.

Sorry, I meant to say I stopped talking to her about the reading, not in general.
