Actually we lucked out this legislative session - no major EVILution legislation. I guess they were two busy trying to Gerrymander and passing anti-abortion and school prayer (o.k. a "moment of silence) legislation.

If there ever comes a time in my life where I open a science book and the first words that come out of are "In the beginning, God created Adam" I swear to all of you that I will blow my f--king head off. Creationism will never have the same weight as evolution because that would offensive to the 1 in 4 Americans who are Atheist or non-Christian. Evolution is inoffensive because it is supported by facts, theories, numbers, and all sorts of science behind it. Creationism is supported by faith. I could never believe that America will become so ignorant as to have a unit of a biology book devoted to how God created Man. We might as well add in a chapter or two about Hinduism, and glockenspeil the Vampire wallaby who makes evolution happen everytime his eyes fall out and rock the whole world which results in mixing around of DNA. I pray to thee glockenspeil, please give my children tails.
