The notorious 9-11 truther (http://debfrisch.com/archives/cat_911_conspiracy.html) psychology professor who was caught threatening a critics 2 year old child (http://debfrisch.com/archives/2006/07/white_flag.html) has appearantly been busted yet again. This time she's gone before a judge. (http://hotair.com/archives/2006/08/23/dr-deb-headed-to-the-clink/)
And this is a university prof! I wonder how many of the rank and file nutters (I'm looking at you JDX and Killtown) are going to get themselves thrown into Sing Sing before this is all through?

Well that of course would prove their point about the evil police state that is the USA.
Doesn't matter that Killtown has made libellous allegations against a woman for taking a photo of a cloud that he doesn't believe in.
Or that JDX is some kind of psychopathic airline pilot(?).
If these guys were caught robbing a bank it would still be the fault of the evil fascist government if they got locked up.

Does anyone have a link to the post where she makes the threats?
You know... Evidence?

It's a long and convoluted story, but it started when Deb Frisch posted some seriously twisted stuff at a blog called Protein Wisdom several weeks ago, and resigned her position at the uni she was working at (I think in Arizona?) as a result of that weekend's events. She then moved to Eugene, Oregon and has been posting all kinds of weird stuff since.
Her court appearance on the Colorado R.O. was about a week ago. But the criminal charges mentioned in this thread are not about that case but about a different case in which she's been charged with stalking and harrassment and such by someone ELSE, not the Colorado blogger guy.
(possibly some other university profs who she has been harrassing lately but I'm not sure)
You can find the whole sad pathetic story if you search on her name in google or technorati, I believe. Or just go here to see how it all started re: the stuff she posted about the 2 year old and about him being "ramsayed" etc:
http://donthiredeb.blogspot.com/2006/07/please.html
Edit to add: I'm not sure that her words actually constituted a "threat" against the child but it depends upon how a court and a jury might interpret them. Her actions then and in the following weeks did, however, most certainly justify the RO. She continued to post all manner of ugly and thoroughly disgusting things on her own blog about the child and, despite being given all kinds of kind advice, she just wouldn't stop. Even after being served with the RO, she kept it up. Eventually, she got a lawyer who, of course, was appalled at reading her own blog where she just kept digging herself into a deeper hole (having admitted point blank that she said the things she was accused of, that she was doing for the express purpose of causing emotional harm, etc. etc. - it was sad to watch, but she just wouldn't listen and continued to dig herself deeper and deeper, all the while, of course, you can bet that others were capturing every single post she wrote. To make matters worse, she went to all kinds of other sites writing twisted things on other blogs writing all kinds of strange things, including fake suicide notes - not her own, but pretending to write suicide notes on behalf of other people that she wanted to sue - and stuff like that.
I think that since she was charged with the other offences in Oregon, she finally deleted most of her self incriminating posts from her own blog (finally) but they are all still on the site linked above.

I can vouche for this.
She said some nasty stuff like "I know where your live and your kid looks nice" and other nasty remarks.
It was a big thing on right-wing blogs a while ago.

Her statements did not quite rise to the level of an actual threat, but they were quite disgusting and disturbing (http://www.blackfive.net/main/2006/07/a_new_low.html). The comments were left at Jeff Goldstein's blog, Protein Wisdom, although I can't find them right now. One of the oddities of this story is that Protein Wisdom's server was hit with a DOS attack (apparently not aimed at his blog, but another site on the server) the same day the story broke, so everybody seems to have linked to the secondhand report at the Blackfive post linked above. However, I have seen the actual comments thread in the past. Some examples of what she said:
as I said elsewhere, if I woke up tomorrow and learned that someone else had shot you and your “tyke” it wouldn’t slow me down one iota. You aren’t “human” to me.
Give your pathetic progeny (I sure hope that mofo got good genes from his mama!) a big fat tongue-filled kiss from me! LOTS AND LOTS OF SALIVA from Auntie MOONBAT, if you don’t mind!
Somehow, Jeffy boy, I think you get off on the possibility of Frenching your pathetic progeny, even if it is a boy. You seem like a VERY, VERY sick mofo to me, bro.
Pot, meet kettle.
She was a psychology professor (non-tenured) at the University of Arizona when she left the comments, and she resigned within a few days. Her 9-11 Denial (http://debfrisch.com/archives/cat_911_conspiracy.html) consisted of a few posts in 2005, mostly about In Plane Sight.
She's what we call a blogstalker; it appears that she does not confine her stalking habits to the blogs however. I suspect that she goes over the line when she's had a few too many.
