Well, at least she's not just sitting around posting on Internet message boards all day.

A Republican candidate for this area’s congressional seat said Wednesday that the U.S. government was complicit in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

In an editorial board interview with The Telegraph on Wednesday, the candidate, Mary Maxwell, said the U.S. government had a role in killing nearly 3,000 people at the World Trade Center and Pentagon, so it could make Americans hate Arabs and allow the military to bomb Muslim nations such as Iraq.

Near the end of the interview, Maxwell pounded her fist on the table and asked editors of The Telegraph why they weren’t publishing more stories about the government’s role in the terrorist attacks or proliferation of nuclear weapons.

I like how most of the menu items are critical of the current republican administration, and one says Join the Republican Party!

Well, at least it puts the lie to the idea that 9/11 CTs are the sole preserve of the left.
You know who I really blame, Pope Gregory, if it wasn't for him and his stupid calendar those attacks would not have happened on 11 September…

I thought about writing a story once, just for the hell of it, where the 9/11 attacks were truly a government conspiracy.

I couldn't really come up with anything that's even vaguely plausible...

So, is it just me, or did Mary Maxwell just commit political suicide?

I would say so, on this side of the pond even George "Sadam: I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability" Galloway realised that supporting 9/11 CTs was a step too far.

She also believes martial law is imminent (http://www.maxwellforcongress.com/martiallaw). I think she's forgetting how many people own guns in New Hampshire. Live Free or Die!

That implies she had a political life to lose. As best as I can determine, that's not the case. She's a nobody who's going to get beat like a bongo drum in the primary.
