Over at LC they now have a subforum for 'youth'. Aside from being another TOS violation (no under 13s allowed) don't they see how creepy this is?

Where's the infant and toddler truth seeker crowd?!

Youth and students is where it's at.

The message and power is potent for the young, especially since no one expects them to be intelligent and hold them responsible.

The youth must spread the message of truth FAR, FAST and WIDE ASAP! You must help us older folk protect your future!

I may be completely wrong here, but isn't the targetting of youth for this kind of thing generally because they are more easily indoctrinated?

Of course! Why else do you think they're trying to teach about God in schools?
Some people will stoop to anything.

What's invisions complaints address?

Dylhole & co. read and signed a contract. I have no qualms about alerting a company that their good faith agreements are being violated behind thier backs.

Are they going to get the kids to inform on their parents for "unsound practices" or for reading "non truth" literature?

Hitler thought the youth were "where it's at" too.

ETA I wrote the above before I read the link. There is a thread there "Why do you believe this conspiracy?" posted by some kid just asking questions. Read it and witness the ugliness that is Daniels.

I have always found the loosers to be rather entertaining, but this is just a little disturbing. Is this subforum in fact intended for under 13's? Or by "youth" do they mean 13-16 or something?

It's for under 21's. In their poll there's only 1 under 13 out of 20 or so votes. Sorry if I implied there were more. chucksheen's quote, lighthearted though it is, shows they don't really understand what they're getting into.

Mainly it seem to be gripes about their parents who won't 'do any research'. I'm not learned enough to refer to the Hitler Youth analogies so I'll just say it reminds me of that bad kid in V who informed on his parents.

This reminds me of an old black and white movie I've watched involving young boys doing all sorts of boy scout like activities and wearing uniforms. I didn't understand the video well though, because the narration was in german.

Funny story about this.... One of the regular truthers that shows up at GZ every Saturday is this Columbia student. Walks around with like two black and white photos of the Pentagon scene.

He and I were getting into it about what crashed there and a young boy (about 8 or 9 I'd say) was standing there listening to the both of us. Columbia decides to get him involved, kneels down next to him shows him one of his pictures and asks the kid, "Does this look like a plane crashed here?"

The kid shakes his head "no", Columbia proudly stands up, looks at me with that "I totally just 'pwned' you" smirk, and walks away.

I laughed.

I'm sure it's not intended, but these 9 words remind me a bit of 14 similar words (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourteen_words).

Found this thread (http://s15.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=11257) over in the "youth" section on LC. Anyone else find the title ironically disturbing?

At which point, I'd look the 8 year old in the eye and ask, "Do you believe in Santa?"

Don't you have to have the permission of parents if you are only of a certain age, and you wish to join a group or "movement"?

I would be very interested to see what parents would have to say if they knew what Chuck and Dylan and the group were "Teaching" these children, without "Teaching" degrees.

I would suspect a lawsuit would be mentioned somewhere along the line...

I didn't understand the video well though, because the narration was in german."The idea is that if kids wear uniforms to school, it helps to keep order. Hey! Don't these schools do enough damage makin' all these children THINK alike? Now they're gonna get 'em to LOOK alike, too? And it's not even a new idea; I first saw it in old newsreels from the 1930s, but it was hard to understand, because the narration was in German." -- George Carlin

I like that man now.

EDIT: No, I didn't "steal" it from him. Creepy coincidence.

All this investigatin' and researchin' and skepticisin' will create a conglomerated, mongrel breed of CT!

It is a move that is logical in some ways and in others rather silly.

Logical in the the youth community on the net is a logical target. Silly in that the last thing you do if you want to attract the youth of the net is to treat them like children.

I thought all this talk of recruiting kids sounded familiar.... (http://www.animalrights.net/archives/year/2004/000006.html)

Would a comic book depicting a godzilla sized soccer mom stabbing the world trade center with an airliner be too low for even Dylhole Al-Avery, or am I bravely hoping against hope?

Perhaps someone should go over to the other forum and suggest a song for the Truth Youth - you know, the one that goes -

"The sun on the meadow is summery warm
The stag in the forest runs free
But gather together to greet the storm
Tomorrow belongs to me .. "

Oh Avery, Avery,
Show us the sign,
your Children are waiting to see
The morning will come,
when the world is mine.
Tomorrow belongs to me!
