Yeah, I saw that, hehe.
He uses Jesus' "astrological chart" -- the planet Uranus figures prominently
Uranus figures prominently?
Man, I'm not even going to touch that one.

I just read the title.
'Gay Jesus' Claim Draws Fire

"Dog bites man"

I'm doing fine.
I just had two weeks off from work and I savored being lazy, hehe.

This is the best quote:
He claimed his research and forthcoming book, being based on both astrology and theology, were "the nearest we can get ... to real objectivity on this."

Wouldn't a gay theologian deciding that Jesus was gay be quite similar to white theologians making Jesus a white guy? That is how he appears to me on countless pieces of art.

ipecac,
Yeah, this is the real 'kicker'....
He claimed his research and forthcoming book, being based on both astrology and theology, were "the nearest we can get ... to real objectivity on this."

Missed that, sorry.
Let's just say that, um, well, it was very hard to read the whole thing and remain silent....

Funny.
He attempts to use a form of pseudoscience that christianity might very well condemn, yet catholic church "had" to accept astrology during some point of history if memory serves.

They teach it to the priests.
It all falls under 'metaphysics'.
