If you're still alive, please raise your modems!

Non-cruisers: weather condition? What's the current path of the storm, and how does it affect our bold, adventurous, fearless cruisers?

And cruisers, tell us how much fun you're having, drop a word, send us some mental signs. Password to my brain is "chocolate". Use it sparingly. :D

seriously, and have the pilots from Flight 19 aged much?

If you're still alive . . . That's the bad news: Their boat was hit by a rogue wave while trying to outrun a death ray from an Atlantean power plant.

The good news: There are now multiple rooms available for TAM5.

The storm is wimping out. Big boat. Tropical storm. Should not be a problem. Unless they have a big issues with sea sickness.

In the mean time, I am fleeing South Carolina before the storm gets here and I am quite far inland. Just so I don't get stuck here and cannot fly home when I am supposed to.

It's all YOUR fault Rodney.

You are like a black cat or something....

Apparently there was a reason the cruise was on sale this month (http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gifs/pastprofileEP.gif). :lifeprese

Just disembarked - had an AMAZING! time. Internet was 50 cents a MINUTE while on board and I'm simply not geeky enough to pay $30 an hour to check my Email.

Unfortunately, we need to report that the Triangle was responsible for a very serious and saddening incident.

Curnir took a tumble on a wet spot at the buffet and broke his hip. He received excellent care on board, and was evacuated to a Miami-area hospital.

I expect there will be an update posted by Jeff and/or Mr. Randi on Curnir's condition.

However, bad news aside, the cruise was PHENOMENAL and I sincerely hope this becomes an annual event.

I certainly had a great time meeting people from the forum, JREF fans that are not on the forums, and the speakers. I was in awe of the intellect of the people I met!

NONE of the little compasses provided by Jeff Wagg and attached to our JREF nametags worked! We were supposed to look for odd compass action as we entered the Triangle, but the compasses failed well before entering the Triangle (Maybe it needs to be expanded?)

Howdy. I'm one of the cruise-goers. For those of you who met me on the cruise, I am Ian(the guy with the working compass-badge). I attended with my wife(newlywed) and I had a blast. It was a pleasure meeting you all, and I hope to be able to contribute and continue conversing and discussing here on the forums. Once I have sufficent posts, I'll be setting up my avatar and signature.

For you non-cruisers, I look forward to speaking with you when I can.

I am Ian(the guy with the working compass-badge).

I spy a contradiction.

This is either a conspiracy, or somebody was teleported into another dimension.

I'm sorry, the hilarity of Ian's first post to the forum being met with Claus demanding evidence is too much for me...

OK, lets correct my last post. NONE of the compasses of the cruisers with whom I talked worked. (Ummmmm, Ian, are you SURE you were actually on the cruise? Evidence?)

I can confirm that I saw someone who resembles the person who has identified himself as NaiDriftlin participate in the cruise, indeed, I have a vague recollection of him being naughty during Banachek's performance. I cannot attest as to the functioning of his compass - but he definitely misread a serial number on a banknote. ;)

I was actually expecting it after you told me about it. My life is a series of ironic moments and strange coincidences all leading up to some perfectly acceptable and logical explination of a magnitude too grand for my young, sober mind to comprehend.

The short version: This crap happens to me all the time. :P

As for evidence. It moved after I gave it a good bashing with my middle finger and continued to move (on its own, I assume). If you want further proof, wah. Drive to Delaware, I'll give you my address, and you can confirm it for yourself. It's not important enough to consume the precious hard drive space in order to produce a semi-decent quality video. :P

As for me actually being there, I was probably just having an out of body experience, unwillingly using my powers of bilocation, or a ghost from the Bermuta Triangle. Of course, that would only further complicate things such as Kat's being there, our interaction with each other. Kat would have to be psychic and would have to be okay marrying someone who is..

A)Constantly wandering out of his own body,
B)Probably flirting with her and someone else at the same time or..
C)Dead.

Oh. As for pictures. I've got some on my website. Blamenai.com. I've got 166 pictures or so total, and I'll be adding them all up eventually. Click the link that says "The Amazing Adventure".

Unfortunately, due to my newbocity, I can't provide hyperlinks just yet.

Yeah, yeah....here they come...the post-hoc rationalizations, the excuses, the frantic explanations....

Boy, have we heard that before...
