Bay Area Skeptic Meet After Action Report

Last night was the 1st Bay Area Skeptic Meetup. In attendance were several people whose real names and/or usernames are now lost to my brain. I'm sure they'll post here to tell me I'm a jerkface.

Unfortunately, Roadtoad couldn't make it becaues he had that new job and I guess he likes to eat and have a place to live. I decided to let it slide, though.

Also unfortunately, Dave & Busters likes to throw boards & tablecloths over their pool tables when parties get booked, so there was no pool or shuffleboard or epic pub fights where cueballs and sticks are used as weapons.

However, we still managed to have a great time, pulling several tables together and ate some dinner/drank some beer. We've unanimously agreed to hold another one in the semi-near future, although the venue for the next event will almost certainly be different.

I also took a few pictures of the shindig. Actually, three. I would have taken more, but I hate blinding people with flashes and trying to corral a group together more than once if I can help it. So without further ado, here are my three photographs:

From left to right:

Beleth, Stir, Girl 6, Loon, and Pirate Lad. The lovely Mrs. Beleth was there as well but she was quick enough to get out of the photo.

The bright red person in the first photo with Girl 6 was some guy who showed up needing a drink. No clue as to who he could be.

Huh? What lady with the gemstones? Are looking at different pictures than the rest of us?

The lady with the gemstones appears in the second picture. She was showing Metullus and I some gemstones she'd bought earlier in the day a at gem show.
