Iwas reading through my diaries, recalling Sept 11th 2001 so that I could post about what I was doing that day. And I came across this entry from 13th Sept 2001:
There are going to be no shortages of conspiracy theories about the NYC tragedy. I hereby put in my nomination for the earliest and indeed weirdest one. Actually, it's not even a full-blown theory yet, just a very strange collection of facts.
First of all, on the 30th August, somebody started a thread on the alt.prophesies.nostradamus newsgroup. The thread was called "911" and started by someone calling hinself "Xinoehpoel". "Xin..." stated baldly that some terrible tragedy would befall America on the 31st August. This would apparently be some sort of divine punishment. So far, so sinister. When nothing happened on the 31st, other newsgroup members started twitting Xin - he replied with more obscure threats and stated: "I will be going away in seven days time and you will not be hearing from me again." This message was dated 4th September.
This thread has now been removed (unsurprisingly), but it is genuine - I saw it myself before it vanished; I wish now I had copied it.
Now for the weirdness. Xin used the term "Jah" for God; the god-name Jah is used by Rastafarians; Rastafarianism comes from Ethiopia; Sept 11th was the Ethiopian New Year; Rastas beieve that the last Ethiopian Emperor was the Messiah and call him "Lion of Judah"; "Xinoehpoel" is an anagram of "Leo Phoenix".
Raatas declaring war on America and turning into suicide bombers??? Like I said - weird.
Anybody got any further info about this?
