Definitions:
Controlled Demolition: The science of selectivly damaging the supporting elements of a structure to ensure that the mutual attraction due to the masses of the earth and structure will cause the rubble to remain in a specific location
Twin Tower collapse: The random damaging of the supporting elements of WTC 1 and WTC 2 such that the mutual attraction to the masses of the earth and structure cause the rubble to fall where it may.
In both cases, that mutual attraction, known as gravity to the layman, does the work--things fall down. period.
I would also point out that the amount of building above the random damage caused by the aircraft is pretty dadgummed close to the size building a CD is usually employed on.
when relieved of support,
Things Fall DOWN!
