Man Shot Three Of His Friends (http://www.wmur.com/news/9902931/detail.html)

TACOMA, Wash. -- Tensions were high in a Tacoma courtroom Wednesday when a man who pleaded guilty to killing three people told the victims' families to "get over it."

Ulysses Handy, 24, will spend the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty to murder charges to avoid a possible death penalty.

He shot 28-year old Darren Christian, 20-year old Daniel Varo and 21-year old Lindy Cochran to death in February during a robbery at a Tacoma home. The three were his friends.

Good thing they were his friends. Who knows what he might have done to them if they weren't.

...."I feel there's two types of people in this world, us and them, predator and prey. Well, I'm damn sure not a prey. So, I know there's people up in here hurt. Well, pain's a part of life, deal with it, get over it."...

Young and dumb. Going to prison for the rest of his life, he is.

Who knows what tomorrow brings?

Well, I'm damn sure not a prey.

Predator today, prey tomorrow?

Well, you'd damn sure figure out how to pray, because at 24 years of age with a pretty picture on your chest, you might learn soon how it feels to be prey...............

Au revoir, shytbag...................

It's not that he's "young and dumb" but that he's a complete psychopath.

If now before, after a few years in "the hotel" he will be.

Well, I'm damn sure not a prey.

Frankly, that statement indicates stupidity to me.

He appears not to have one iota of empathy yet it's obvious he understands in some sense the concept of right or wrong. Very frightening.

I have a huge amount of sympathy for the families of the victims and
I also have a huge amount of sympathy with his Mother. From the little bit quoted I suspect that she will suffer - albeit it a different way - as much as the victims' Mothers.

IMO, part of the evidence that he is nuts is pleading guilty to avoid the death penalty. At 24, that means he will spend about seven decades in a horrible environment. After two years, he will never cut a fart again. He'll live in a community where violent death is always just around the corner. Death sounds like a plausible alternative to me.

My thoughts exactly.

I think sociopaths understand what they are taught about right and wrong, they just don't feel it.

Agreed. Broken hearts all around.
