via Apothecary's Drawer (http://www.raygirvan.co.uk/apoth/2006_09_01_arc.html#115883138578908862) bit of software that stitches together your photos for you.

You take a series of overlapping pics.
You bung them in a subdirectory.
You point Autostitch (http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html)™ at it and it uses an algorithm to seamlessly join them together.

That is too cool.

Most digital cameras come with software which does this.

Interesting software. Can stitch panoramas that have a view of more than 180 degrees

Makes for some weird panoramas. Go to their Gallery, and in some of the pictures you can see that the sun is in frame, as well as the shadow of the picture taker! (Serratus and Mount Garibaldi pictures)
