Spiegelmock reportedly said that the JavaScript implementation is a "complete mess" and that it is "impossible to patch." Upon watching a video of the presentation, Window Synder, Mozilla's security chief, said that this issue appears to be a "real vulnerability".

Okay, anybody find it funny that the head of security is named Windw Synder? Spiegelmock? C'mon, until something official comes down the pike from the folks at Mozilla, this appears to be a hoax.

I suppose you might think her name is funny but she is head of security strategy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window_Snyder) for the Mozilla foundation.

I wonder how long before a patch?

Sigh... I'm just not as quick on the draw as I used to be...

She worked for Microsoft. On Windows Security to boot. I think we are allowed a small laugh here.

From the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window_Snyder

Snyder was a founding member and Director of Security Architecture at @stake and was a senior security strategist at Microsoft in the Security Engineering and Communications organization, most notably as security lead and signoff on Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2003. After leaving Microsoft in 2005, she worked as a principal, founder and CTO at Matasano Security LLC. She joined Mozilla in September 2006.

Gives Window's Security a whole new meaning. Har har!
