On a serious note, that article you linked to is great. The ability to silence genes may lead to a time, not so far off, where Diabetes, Heart Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, and many many other diseases will be effectively turned off, and never come to be in individuals who get the treatment.

A wonderful time to be involved in science.
