Wow. I read through 'their' threads on this topic and find it humorous that they call everyone here juvenile. The language they use is indicative of a teenager, and they whine like little kids who don't want to eat their veggies. It's almost sad if it weren't so funny. They won't show up here. It's too far outside of their element. Their comfort zone ends right at that point where they can't reach out and hold hands with another conspiracy nut.

I agree that it is sad and I occasionally feel bad about ridiculing them because it is obvious that the vast majority of posters at the LC forum do not even know what critical thinking is, thus it is not surprising that they are incapable of engaging in it.

That said, there is only a certain amount of wilful blindness, deliberate obtuseness, extreme gullibility, deliberate refusal to look at facts and evidence, outright lies and misinformation, and inherent stupidity that one can stomach before "feeling bad" gives way to feeling that they deserve the ridicule that they attract.

Edit to add: and then when you consider the deliberate mocking and belittling of victims and their families, the deliberate accusations of complicity against innocent people on the basis of nothing but paranoid conspiracy theories with zero evidence, as so many of the "troofies" and their groupies exhibit, all sympathy evaporates and they deserve only scorn.

This kind of irrational paranoia actually makes me feel sorry for some of these people. They must live every minute of every day in fear. Do they suspect everyone they speak to? Do they worry that government agents might break into their homes and kill their families as they sleep?

It isnt quite what we've been waiting for but a user with the name "THE_DECIDER" has begun posting stuff over at the Screw Loose Change Forum. His posts are meant (very feebly) to look like innocent questions, but they are obvious ploys concerning issues the LCers have with certain parts of the attacks. Well I have confirmation from the poster himself that the "THE_DECIDER" now posting over at the SLC Forum is the one and the same MOD from LC Forum. So apparently he wants to know a few things about 9/11. He tells me he follows all these boards, JREF and SLC FORUM. He even cut and paste the above post and asked me why it is neccessary.

I told him, as you can read, that I view anything he says or does with a great amount of suspicion because of (1)his comments on the LC Forum, and (2)The fact that he has decided to post at SLC FORUM rather than here, which is where he was invited (via this thread) to discuss/debate/ask questions.

I know he is reading this now, so fair enough. If you are legitimately offering an olive branch to discuss the issues with Debunkers, than read on:

"THE_DECIDER" as I asked you over at SLC Forum, come over here with your questions, as there are alot of others here who can better answer your questions than me...This is a formal invitation to you. If you are legimitately "just asking questions" about 9/11 and our opinions on it, than come over here with them.

JREF forum registration rejects users who don't provide a real name (I believe). Therefore, most truthers are scared to join. After all the JREF is a government organisation. They see clean through this plan! JREF members try to lure the LCers into posting here just to get their names and IP addresses. And then what? Well, I suppose those 'truthers' will have mysterious accidents within weeks of joining.

Does this sound insincere? I have seen CTers cite this reason for not joining (that they don't want JREF moderators to have their name/IP). With that kind of paranoia I'm surprised they don't throw their computers into the ocean and hide in caves.

Which will probably be one of the final nails in the Truth Movement's coffin; if they are really serious about spreading their gospal, they will eventually have to face the challenge to have an open debate . If they don't do it, they won't be taken seriously. If they accepted it, they'd probably be defeated. It's a loose-looose situation.
