I have been reading a book about Roger Bacon, no not Francis.

Roger Bacon had his four causes of error, or obstacles to grasping the truth...

"Submission to faulty or unworthy authority; influence of custom; popular prejudice' and, concealment of our own ignorance accompanied by an ostentatious display of our knowledge."

I think he got it right!

Claus and he might have got along.

Didn't he also invent a refined improved version of gunpowder

Didn't the Church throw Roger in the slammer for a decade or so?

Hmm, could be, this just covers theories on who could have authored that odd manuscript that no one seems to have been able to decipher.

Francis copied Roger to heck and back. He stole a ton of Rogers ideas, and passed them off as his own. So I'm not very impressed with Francis right now. Plus the book says he had a kind of Foley thing going with some of the young pages at court. Things never change!

In a previous life, I was him.
