Well, where the f**k do I start???? I'd say I feel a bit sheepish after all that, but that'd just give you an excuse to have another crack. I have been told off by Darat who appears to be the big boss? in no uncertain terms and have passed on my real name, address, blood type and passport number and I'm sending the tissue sample by TNT Couriers. My mum's sending a copy of my birth certificate and that should just about cover it. You blokes don't mess around do ya? Honesty above all. Oh well, I asked for it, I copped it and now I have a sore arse, so I hope that takes care of my punishment. I'd like to repeat that I wasn't trying to piss you off, I just like to suss people out my own way. I didn't realise you blokes have the KGB running this place, so now I promise to behave at all times! JESUS! What a good start, Ray. That's my actual name as no doubt the KGB can confirm.

I see that some of you are indeed pissed right off about my style.

I'M SORRY

I won't be a frequent poster here 'coz I only usually have mornings and breaks to do this kind of stuff but I cross my heart and promise that I won't try and pull your tits again. It's at times like this I wish I was in New York so I could and smack around some of those CT jerks at Ground Zero to show which side I'm on. And I ain't kidding about whacking those types. I punched some bloke straight in the mouth for telling me I was sucking up to Bush a couple of weeks ago. I wish I had a picture of the bloke - he was pissing out blood like a garden hose. He called the cops and when I explained what had happened they would have been quite happy for me to hook the b****** again!! Looking back I wish I had. LOL

A question on that. Have you ever tried to just smash the protestors? I've always found that smart little s***s like them can change minds real quick when they see a knuckle sandwich headed their way. I read some of Gravy's stuff last night and I know that I couldn't do it, just stand there and debate them. I'd be all over them like a dose of crabs. Mate, you have my utmost respect for being able to do that. I will go and post in there as well. I see there are a few fellow Aussies in here. If you're ever headed over to Balmain, give me a buzz and I'll shout you one at The Comm!

No, we stopped insisting on a correct DOB some time ago. As long as you are over 13, for the COPPA laws.Sorry, love, but that theory's been blown out of the water. Your mate Darat told me that stump up with the truth or we'll suspend you until you do. Hope the tissue sample keeps ok.

Maybe you should just leave and call it a day.Hey, if that opinion reigns, count me in to piss off and never be heard of again. Right now I'd better get off to work or my boss will make Darat look like that pussy in his pic. I'll pop back later and see if my apologies are accepted or not.

Keep digging.

Only messing with you, your apology seems honest enough. If you wish to continue here, then I look forward to seeing you engaging in real and honest debate in future.

Please bear in mind this is not LC, the people here have grown beyond puberty.

Whether you stay or go is entirely up to you. But please bear in mind that many people here take this debate outside this forum and are well used to the tactics of the ct crowd.

If you decide to stay then be honest even if you disagree with official story. The worst thing anybody can do is to try and hide behind the mask of a friend only to be exposed as a Judas.

I know you're the deputy chief and all and no doubt the one who told your boss that I'd lied about my age. This is the exact message I recieved from Darat and you can confirm it as you obviously have a copy:

The bold upsizing is a change made by me, 5sg.

Now, since you went and told Darat, you'd know what you said, but if you go check your own post #171 in this thread, at that stage, the only thing I had said was incorrect was the age. Darat clearly was talking in the first sentence about THAT subject only as you have no way of checking who the hell anyone actually is on this forum, so while his e mail doesn't mention age specifically, that's what started it. Even the heading notes "incorrect" information. If I read that wrong, that would be your boss's mistake in not being specific - don't be calling me a liar about it.

Gotta say, the variety of responses here is entertaining and I feel pretty justified in doing things the way I did. Some of you are able to laugh it off, some of you are upset and some of you have got your panties in a right old twist. I'm beginning to wonder whether there's a huge imbalance in ambitions and capabilities of people here. What have you got? 2200 active members? Out of a population with computers of a billion people plus, that's a pretty small group. Even raging munters like Stormfront.org have ten times as many members and they're just racist filth. I've been in there plenty of times and rarked them up no end. Never asked my age, name or address, though. For a "thinking" forum, I haven't seen a great deal of thinking yet. I'll just keep watching and waiting. Unless I get banned for slagging off the management. Harden up, girlie.

Here was my PM to Darat:

I also see that there has been speculation as to my age and that the information replying to a question I completed incorrectly (deliberately so) when I registered for this forum has already been accessed. I am actually in my late 40s, this being as much as I will admit to right now. This is precisely why I did not use genuine information. If I wished to be identified, I would have already told you who and what I am/was. I also apologize for not writing purely in military format, but I presumed that most of the posters here were non-military and may not understand what I meant. I see that is not the case. I intended no mis-understandings.

This guy has just admitted he gave false info.

Nowhere did I mention you giving false info about your age. I don't care about your age as long as you are over 13. Darat never asked you for your age.

You want to get along here? First you lie, then you lie again, then you insult me. Nice.

Careful, mate. While the membership here may be smaller than other forums, the actual clout we carry far outweighs our numbers. It's not how many of us, it's who we are. And who we know. Stormfront is not a worthy comparison - they're just a bunch of nonentities, each and every one.

Incidentally, the "membership agreement" stuff is purely for Florida's legal requirements (where this forum is based). I agree it's rather pointlessly silly for us non-Yanks to have to comply with this stuff (and I don't think it provides the legal protection they seek anyway), but it's their party so we have to play by their rules. Argue it elsewhere (we already have!).

For a "thinking" forum, I haven't seen a great deal of thinking yet.

This actually doesn't surprise me. Your posts on this board indicate a clear lack of the ability to think critically, logically or to anticipate other's reactions to your actions.

So no, I would not expect you to identify the critical and logical thinking being performed by others on this board.

I think this forum is alot like real life in some ways. Here they prefer respect, and politeness. I mean we all get pissed occasionally, and I am sure very few of us here can say we have never gotten angry at some poster who posted shaite.
The point I am making 5SG, is that the group in here tends to be pretty suspicious, so we smoked you out. The fact that you used/abused the forum system for sign up to do this, has annoyed some here, perhaps some of the admins. It is there job to keep people in line. Then, and I am assuming it is just your way, who you are, you started to get crass, snippy, calling the admin "girlie" and a few other things. Now that way, is not really indearing, and perhaps you particularly don't care to indear yourself to anyone here...fine, but don't expect civility in return.

I for one, for the most part, am just watching the convo, to see if you actually want to join the debates/discussions of this forum, or not.

Now this is a free forum with 2000 active membersand I thought it probably doesn't pay its administrators all that well, so you'd be not long out of school. Now I've taken the trouble to look at your profile I see you're a primary school teacher. I'd think a 40 year-old sheila would be happy to be called "girlie". After all this jumping up and down over it I'm forming a picture of a spinster schoolmistress who spends all day in here 'coz she doesn't have a life. If I'm wrong there, let me know. And I take it everybody tells the truth all the time in here going by your final comment. I obviously pulled your chain in just the wrong direction. Like I said, interesting stuff all round.

Hallo forum members.

I have been scouting you all out for the past month or two. I am a former senior ranking officer in NORAD. I can not give further details at this stage. I think I am correct in bringing my evidence here, because if I can convince skpetics about the truth behind the real 9/11 conspiracy, it may become disseminated to people who can actually get some truth in amongst the lies being perpetrated by 9/11 conspiracy theorists. What I have to say bears no relation to any "theory" but is cold, hard fact.

At the time of the 9/11 hijackings, I was off-duty but had been called back in to deal with another matter entirely and was not at my usual station. I will certainly breech my own standards by talking about this, but five years later, the pain has been too much to ignore and I must. I have the following questions, to which I have not been given satisfactory answers and it is as a result of the pressure to drop the questions which has led me to resign from my commission and a twenty-seven year career in service of my country. The only reason I am prepared to do this is because I am sure that the current adminstation has committed a vastly worse crime than this shall ever be.

1 What was in directive 163/AK/404, issued to flight controllers and security personnel at Dulles? The directive was issued secretly and only a very few people knew of its existence. I found out about it by chance when a long-serving friend from MI died recently. The directive was issued at 0600 on 9/11/01.

2 All publicly-available records note NORAD not being advised of the hijack until after 0925, if at all. I can advise that Major-General Larry Arnold took a call on his private cellphone - from an outside line - at 0857 on 9/11/01. What was this call? Why did he immediately leave a pre-arranged meeting upon receiving the call? Why did he leave the room before picking up the call? Major-General Arnold has never been known to do this before. Why did he immediately make a call to an unlisted cellphone number in Washington DC? Why does he deny making or receiving either call. How convenient is it that Major-General Arnold "lost" his personal cellphone the same afternoon?

3 Where is the missing Tomahawk missile? Upon audit on 8/3/01, a BGM-109 TLAM-C was found to be missing from inventory in ESG5. Why were auditors taken away that same afternoon to a "conference" from which they returned, never to mention the subject again? And there IS one unaccounted for. Why were the final figures changed to coincide with the new total held?

4 Why was Pentagon DSMAC information downloaded onto a hard-drive on 8/26/01?

Those are some of the facts I have in my possession about matters pertaining to 9/11/01. Opinion? First off, let me tell you what I believe. I believe that people in our Government knew about the plot to hijack airplanes and fly them into buildings. I will not buy into theories which suggest that the Bush Administration organised the attacks, but I am convinced that they allowed the attacks. Let us start from here and see where it ends up.

Warmest Regards

5stargeneral
Hi, zoomie wannabe

Your ignorance of the effects of a Tomahawk missile leap from the page. Funny, you may be an Air Defense guy, but you don't know jack about strike.

25 years Navy, joint qualified, and you are full of more than the usual zoomie BS.
And this is rich: I confess that my keyboard skills are a little weak - I have never been required to type a great deal in my career.
For the past 10 years (you who claim to be a high ranking officer) you lack the simple skills of the standard staff college powerpoint commando, and of a staff officer who has to produce staff work?

BS, bilge, exhaust, and nonsense.

EDIT: Just read the last two pages.

Ferflocksakes, man, you have just redefined the term "wanker" and "poser" in one thread. Show your own manhood more respect.

Welcome, 5star

In my experience, it is unusual for someone to alternate between British and American spellings. Most people consistently use one or the other.

Yet, in your posts, you have used the British spelling for "organised" and the American spelling for "utilize" and "apologize".

Curious, that.
It is not uncommon for Americans who worked on a NATO staff, where official NATO English remains the Queen's English, not the American English. OED, not Webster.

I confess, it was an honouor to learn under the light hand of a master, and to learn how to take the piss out of someone.

TAMMate, that's all pretty fair comment and as I just pointed out, I've apologised a couple of times for pulling a fast one at the start. If I ever manage to clear this mess up I might get the time to scout around some of the other threads. I have to say it looks as though I was completely mistaken by the type of people in here as I expected people to be a little harder than's been the case so far. Too bad.

I really think the lot of you (not specifically addressing Darat) need to freshen up your senses of humor. Yes, it's a serious subject, but come on now, let's not completely lose our abilities to laugh at ourselves here. If 5star was being serious, I really think you were being too hard on him. It was poor judgment to try to pull a fast one here, to be sure, but it was certainly not a damnable offense. Step back, take a breath, and realize the true enemies are those out there who actually are adamant about (10 points for alliteration) exonerating the terrorists.

If his alternative story was still a ruse, big deal. It was still pretty funny and nothing to get this bent out of shape about.

We continue going down this road and pretty soon we're no better than the infighing LCers.

Relax.

Yeah, let's take it easy on the guy that found a way to entertain himself by trivializing the deaths of 189 people. Let's take it easy on the guy that feels it is important to mislead people about the events surrounding their deaths. To lay the blame of their deaths on innocent men and women. Let's take it easy on the guy that went out of his way to offend Lisa several times. Let's take it easy on the guy that continued to lie even after he'd been caught. I'm sure he's a good guy deep down.

Thank you for making the right decision Darat.

Do you honestly think his intent was to trivialize the deaths of 189 people?

He was trying to be funny, and it was in poor taste, and he seemed to genuinely be apologetic for it. Recognize it for what it is and move on.

Do I care about his intent? That's exactly what he did for his own kicks! Did anyone else really find it funny?

I never saw a genuine apology, in fact he continued to berate Lisa as well as the forum as a whole. Not to mention the fact he was still lying up until the moment he was banned from the forum. I certainly recognize him for what he is, do you?

Perhaps not--having failed my mind-reading preliminary self-test by a wide margin, I don't claim to know what he was thinking.
I did see him "talk down" several times to Lisa Simpson, with the apparent thrust that he could because she is just a girl--far from his intellectual equal because of her gene make-up.
I don't suffer that kind of fool gracefully, either.

I didn't find his original post to be funny, but I thought his confessional post was humorous.

I read his apologies as genuine, and was willing to let it go, but a lot of people here wanted to continuously berate him, public apology or not. I guess I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. I was willing to accept the fact that he screwed up, admitted it, and was trying to make amends.

I like to think that people would be willing to forgive me if I ever screwed up, so I try to extend that same courtesy to others.

I thought that was unfortunate, and certainly don't condone it (nor would I ever feel comfortable going toe-to-toe with Lisa Simpson, her gender aside), but I think that that all stemmed from his use of the word "girlie", which probably isn't as offensive in Australia as it is here in the States, so he might not've known how offensive he was actually being.

I have to admit I would've been interested to see just how far he was prepared to go in his deceit. I'm always curious about why people do this kind of stuff.

There have been worse trolls in my experience.

I wanted to hear all about the Willy Wally. It's a while since I've been there.

Since he's been banned, I'd like to ask David Wong if 5star pretending to be an Aussie pretending to be a NORAD officer was typical troll number 37, or what?

Which he completely diserved IMHO. The simple act of claiming "I'm sorry," doesn't absolve someone from their actions.

In addition, we likely would extend that courtesy to you simply because you've shown that you're not *%&$@ like this guy was. See, you've earned a reputation with us. See my previous post, it'll probably clear this matter up.

What's strange is I was actually contemplating introducing myself in roughly the same manner, before I made my first post here. I was going to claim myself as psychic, tell people to ask me questions, and completely screw up my readings, saying things like "You've just eaten a Snickers bar and need to re-tie the shoelace on your left shoe."

I think it would've worked, too, but I didn't have the guts.

So our general is gone. FWIW, I think his apology was genuine, but he struck me as being slightly younger than "his 40's" and seemed to think that given our banter back and forth among ourselves, he could just come in and begin backslapping like he'd been here forever...and given that he acted like the group here was as juvenile as he was, he badly miscalculated. I am still not sure he was a complete bad guy, just one that wholly misunderstood us and tried to elbow his way into the conversation like he'd been here since the beginning and knew all the rules and appropriate behavior.

Maybe he'll come back as a slightly wiser poster...if not he'll be shuffled off the board relatively quickly.

IMHO

Apples and oranges. Your idea was light hearted, would have been fairly obvious as a joke, and wasn't based upon a national tragedy, not to mention the fact that you hadn't already intentionally mislead groups of people in the past to pin a mass murder on innocent men and women. It actually sounds like it would've been pretty funny.

I don't believe 5star was a Kiwi. A Kiwi would know that what 5star was portraying was a grossly distorted stereotype. Its the kind of thing I would expect from someone who has watched some Aussie TV and film and listened to some Monty Python sketches about philosophy and wine appreciation.

That BS about punching a CTer and the cops just laughing about it was when I twigged to this bloke. He obviously thinks Sydney is like some lawless wild-west type town where we all sit around in our blue singlets cracking tinnies and slapping sheilahs on the arse all day.
