Anyone think there will be riots during the 2004 campaigns?
I think there just might be. There are many super pissed people ready to take these mofos down. I see the 2004 campaign trail getting violent.

No, the riots will be after the election, when we have another judicially appointed president who didn't clearly win the election.
(end sarcasm) Seriously, if that happens, I'll be moving to Canada if they'll have me, pronto!

Wishful thinking. Get out beyond your social circle. Apathy is rampant.

I don't know if you could get in here, there is a quite hard entrance exam.
There are also other factors to consider. How do you feel about poutine?

Maybe, but I just bet that come November it will be a whole different world.

I sure hope these rioters are severely punished. With any luck some will get killed during the rioting.

Silly Malachi, Tom Daschle isn't running in 04. But I agree, he is pissing everyone off. Chris Dodd probably would have made a better minority leader.

If the choice is between internment at Guantanamo and eating poutine every day, I'll flip a coin.

Not riots, but protests are likely from the anti-capitalists, the anarchists, the staunch environmentalists, the "anything American" haters, and maybe even the pro-welfare spending leftists.

Malachi:
As someone who wants the Dems to lose, I would be overjoyed to see the disaffected Left riot during the 2004 elections. Violence? Absolutely.
As a human being, I hope very much that there will be no rioting, since I don't want innocent people to be hurt or their property to be destroyed.
If you choose to protest, I urge you to take your complaints to the heart of Republican power where they will do the most good- the rural Midwest. Getting violent or blocking traffic in the large cities is probably not a good strategy for turning out the Dem vote in your favor. However, while you're in rural areas of the US, I recommend against getting violent. My sister might shoot your rioters or something. That would be unfortunate for you as well as her.

I think rioting would be extremely counter-productive. It would tell the vast middle that the extreme left is a bunch of nut-bags who cannot get along in civil society and should be ignored, or even suppressed.
Why not burn a few American flags while you're at it? That always wins some sympathy.
This is coming from someone who would like to see George W. Bush displaced in the next election.

Mali Mali Mali you should not do crystal meth while reading the Marxist clubs newsletter. I’m telling ya dude, that blonde chick on the second floor would hook up with you if you just lighten up, and shave off those stupid mutton chop side burns.

Yes, but the thousands of U.S. servicemen and women who were not allowed to cast their absentee ballots in 2000 because of a US Postal Service screw up will probably be too busy protecting our freedom to show up and protest...

What's the matter? Can't your arteries handle a little clogging?
We don't have to eat it everyday, but it is highly ecouraged. You even get tax credit if you eat it while wearing a touque. ;)
