Hi SF Bay Area Skeptics!
I'm going to see Richard Dawkins on 10/29 for FREE at Kepler's Books in Menlo Park. Check out this link: http://richarddawkins.net/event,52,Keplers-Books-and-Magazines.
Here's the info, regardless:
5.30pm, Sunday October 29
Kepler's Books and Magazines
1010 El Camino Real
Menlo Park CA, 94025
(650) 324-4321
I say we show up around 4:00 pm to get some good seats. Who wants to join me?
See you there!

I might be able to make it as well. With the pics posted from the meet you folks had at Dave & Busters, I might actually be able to find you this time.

"It also offers exhilarating insight into the advantages of atheism to the individual and sociiety, .."
Except for the advantage of spelling. ;)
Hasn't religion has been large and influential and important in every society that we know about, past and present? That is quite an advantage. Good luck Richard. :)

That's a typo, not poor spelling.

You are conflating influence and importance with advantages.

I'd ask him if he thinks people are hardwired for belief.
And I'd ask him if he thinks more people are born into religion, or more people convert to religion.
