Kil over on SFN said that we should all offer our services to help him take his mind off his tax troubles - come debate us on Creationism and ID.
Personally, I think I'll wait until the outcome - then he'll probably have loads of free time! (Horrible thought: While doing jail time, he'll write a best-seller!)

A good start but I'm waiting for the sentencing... don't get me wrong, we should absolutely give Hovind a fair trail and then send the arrogant ahole to jail.

I hope he gets the death penalty.

I hope he gets the death penalty.
He should agree to that. Just tell him he's being sentenced to an eternity in heaven.

FROM THE ARTICLE:
He called his employees "volunteers," "missionaries" or "ministers," she said. Wages were referred to as "gifts" or "love offerings."
Employees then became responsible for paying Hovind's portion of the income tax, she said.
This guy is supposed to be a tax protester??? "Here I'm going to protest income tax by pretending all you guys are "contract" workers, and thus you have to pay the taxes, not me, 'cuz I'm a tax-exempt religious nut?" He's not a tax-protester; he's a greedy s.o.b. who doesn't care if his "volunteers, missionaries, and ministers" take the bite! He's got a pair of 'em as big as a dinosaur, that's for sure!
I think Wikipedia points out that he often argues against teaching evolution by saying, "Fine - you believe what you want to believe but don't use my tax dollars to teach it...." (I paraphrase). You can even find Xian blog sites arguing about him.
Put him under the jail! Taking out just enough money to avoid the 10,000 dollar disclosure rule at the banks? I hope they can prove this. Make him out to be the mountebank(sic) he really is!

It's obvious that the Secular Humanist US Federal Government is persecuting him just because they can't handle the truth about the lie of evil-oution.
Why do they hate Baby Jesus so?
