View Full Version : I would like to apologize

Usual Suspect
23rd October 2006, 09:29 AM
I would like to apologize to all for my actions and posts of yesterday. I just get a little upset at being called a retard, kook, or moron cause I don't believe the official lie of 9/11. Combined that with the fact that a quit smoking a week ago today after 21 years of smoking and maybe that explains the hostility. Sorry again.

Well I'm not a debunker but I don't like to be labeled a CT'ist either. I come up with my own questions not questions I was told to ask by Mr. Avery. Honestly I think Dylan and Jason are to starstruck now and are just going to use the truth movement to line their own pockets. Not only do I ask my own questions but when I think I've got an answer I question everything surrounding that answer.

Bell I'm not close-minded to anything. I don't believe you can say you're looking for truth but not listen to all sides and everybody. As I've said before a lot of the people at LC have an idea and anything that doesn't fit that idea is either planted or covered up. They don't for one second think they're idea maybe wrong if a certain piece don't fit.

Funny little LC anecdote:

After posting some 7 or 10 posts at LC (and they where very mild, no going into argument or anything) Daniels suspended my posting privilege. Since I was from JREF, and they at LC (or he, atleast) knew what my thoughts on 9/11 were, he said it made no sence to be posting there.

Yep, LC, asking questions, demanding answers

Nice to see some civil people from the other side of the argument here. I had it with the insult hurling of PDoherty.

Both of you (DOCKER and U.S.) will realize that as long as you present evidence and expert opinion to back up your claims you will be argued severely, but treated with respect. Occasionally, you will get someone in here, who has reached that day, like you guys did, where they have had enough of "the other side" and they will jump on you without much provocation, but that is rare.

If you come here expecting us to believe anything because it doesnt "seem right" or is "too much of a coincidence" with nothing more than that behind it, you are in for an awakening. That is when people here will get demanding, and will reject any points you make on it, until more proof is given.

We certainly do not ignore proof or evidence, regardless of what side it falls on.

Well I have trouble with the 9/11 Commission when the President and the Vice President didn't feel it was important enough to testify before it publicly and under oath. I also have trouble with any investigation that doesn't look to hold anyone accountable.

I assume -- nay, I *expect* -- that any President will have plenty to hide, good and bad.

Heck, *I* have plenty to hide, but I haven't engaged in any criminal conspiracy. there are a lot of reasons why the President and VP would like to keep their testimony in private, from personal butt-saving to legitimate security concerns and everything in between.

That end of it seems the weakest point, IMO: you/we will need some physical evidence showing that there are real problems with the official version (and lots and lots of engineers who have seen it without protesting) before we can get much further into it.

One red flag to the offficial 9/11 Commission report...........

"We to this day don't know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us," said Thomas H. Kean, the former New Jersey Republican governor who led the commission. "It was just so far from the truth. . . . It's one of those loose ends that never got tied."

I find it funny that you consider the entire commission a lie, but then quote a member of the commission as evidence.

I also have never understood the commission's reaction to NORAD's testimony. Personally I think the commission members might be a bit stupid.

It's fairly straight forward. NORAD claimed they would have intercepted and shot down UA93. The truth is they wouldn't. What's the big deal?

Even assuming the knowingly gave this information falsely (that's debatable, have you heard the NORAD recordings? 11 hijackings in 90 minutes, most without any flight information), it seems fairly obvious why they would lie - to make it look like they hadn't totally failed.

This is the problem with all CTers. Nothing should fit to any idea. Reality is because we can measuer it, touch it, know it without doubt. Sure there are lots of little behavioural oddities about 9/11 but the physical evidence points to the explanation which is also detailed in the official released reports.

You dont start with the answer and conclude the question.

I don't think any military agency is eager to shoot down a civilian flight. IIRC, there was a lot of confusion and indecision going on when the planes hit.
Most pople seem to think think that military decisions are made lighting quick. Nobody wants to be responsible for accidentaly shooting down the wrong airplane.

Nope, not after the shooting down of Iran Air Flight 655 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_Air_Flight_655) and the subsequential bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_Am_Flight_103). They would make they were pretty sure at what airplane they would be aiming their missiles (which AFAIK the fighters weren't even equiped with). Gumboot in another thread told about the fighter pilots contemplating crashing theior own fighters into the hijacked planes, though.

There were two sets of aircraft in action. The NORAD standby aircraft were armed with missiles, but were frustrated by not being given permission to shoot down any airliners (at one point in the NEADS recordings a discussion starts up about the best place to hit an airliner to ensure it crashes).

Independently of this, the USSS scrambled fighters from Andrews AFB. These aircraft WERE given permission to fire, but did not have any weapons on board (hence the pilots' intention to ram the airliners).

All of this was, of course, irrelevant, as none of the flights were intercepted anyway.

I find it funny for the second time now you have ASSUMED something about me. You might want to try asking. I mean I am posting here. The term "straw man" comes to mind. I never said I consider the entire Commission a lie. There's facts that are documented in there. Things Clinton did to try and protect us and many other things that are proven fact. I consider the official story a lie and the Commission is investiagting that lie. Then again the Commission wasn't really investigating anything when most times investigations look for those guilty and those to hold accountable. But we're getting off the subject here since I already posted my feelings on the 9/11 Commission and total lack of respect shown to it by Bush and Co. I just want to point out you need to stop assuming things. It's not very becoming.
