The best way to do this is to go to beliefnet and answer the questions backwards - instead of answering what you believe, answer what you find the most ridiculous/offsensive:
http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html
Be sure to use the high/medium/low selectors, it makes for better results.

2. Jehovah's Witness (100%)
3. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (87%)

Agreed, and Scientology is the goofiest one in the poll, so that's how I voted. I think technically the Raeliens are atheists or agnostics, which makes them one of the few non-religious ID advocates apart from devotees to Zachariah Sitchin's theories.

HI :)
I haven't voted, but IMHO, every religion (or politics for that matter) which uses fear and instills and calls for hate and such is the most goofy religion.
Unfortunately people, both in politics and religion, do use the one of the other to install fear, create fear etc. etc. And this happens in all religions, even in my country.

Interesting question, I am not sure that atheism is a religion, I shall ponder. Buddhists and some other can participate in a religion without a belief in gods. But to say that god does not exist is not nessecarily a religion. I don't believe that secular humanism is a religion either.

Funny that there is no votes against "Theravada Buddhism."
When I took that "religion quiz" at beleaf.net, it said that that would be the best religion for me.
Strange, since I kept saying that I do not believe in any "god," and that religion does. I have no idea why that test thought that would best fit me.

Not that it ,atter but, in the Pali canon, which is the oral tradition of the teachings of the buddha written four hundred years after the death of the alleged historical buddha, there is no specific reference to god or divine agents.
On the other hand the time period of the buddha and the stories surrounding the buddha are stocked with an over abundance of dieties, demons, arhats, mystics, miracles, animal spirits, ...
But since the Pali canon is a reduction of the oral tradition there was likely to be some redactions, but it does allow silly people like me to say things like "that is not a teching of the buddha".

"Motorism" as a living philosophy developed since its inception in 1896, a date hotly debated by purists.
In modern times, adherents, or self-styled "motorists" kill tens of thousands annually to fulfill their doctrinal obligations. Scientific experts agree that this is far too many, but nothing is being done about it.

I suspect that that is because I place reincarnation as a belief. However, that alone should not change the result that much. Oh well. I still consider myself a "Secular Humanist" anyways.
